Lucca is an odd character for a safe-claim in a CT game... but it's very late for counter-claim, he might be trying to buy a day. Or OS might be ****ing with us and didn't include a Lucca. The possibility still exists that Lucca is scum.


The fact that DMG references being experienced also strikes me as odd, this suggests that his attempts to keep a low profile were calculated.

For now, I'll stay on Shadowlink. If he's lynched, he doesn't need to be replaced, and .joel still needs a replacement anyway, so it's efficient outside of the game. Plus, he's still my number one scum candidate.

I have a question (I'm still new to this game, don't forget)

The term "claim" seems to have a very specific meaning in this game. There's even a command for it. What's the difference between saying you are a character, and claiming you are a character? Are there any safeties to claiming (like, you aren't allowed to lie or the GM will reveal you)?

I figure since there's vocabulary and a system involved, there might be something about claiming I don't know.

My power allows me to influence what time periods are available. I directly impact what period/s are available each day (not IRL day but each day) before anyone can vote. I do not impact players, aside from the fact that no one can vote to travel to a time period/s that have been influenced by my power.

Pierce, this strongly suggests that DMG can't remove EoT. He said you can't vote for a time period that he influenced, and you can't for EoT. So unless he answers otherwise (not to mention were strapped for time), I would assume no.

And no, there's no command for claiming. Claiming is just saying what your role is, whether it be a name claim, power claim, role claim, etc.

So DMG, when you use your power, will we be alerted that Lucca has prevented us from travelling to (X) time period? If so, I'd like you to use your power on 2300 A.D., so that we can confirm this. Even if someone else has this power, OS would alert us that Lucca has this power, and the only way you could know that is it's you, or someone you're in cahoots with (but most likely you).

Also, CAN WE GET A VOTE COUNT BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY?

I'm really not trying to have tie votes here. Since DMG AT LEAST claimed, we have bigger fish to fry day one IMO, and I'd rather not have a mess with tied votes. Shadowlink please? I wouldn't mind bandwagoning him, but I think it's safest because people might not get online in time.

Yeah, we're in Twilight, you cannot unvote or place any new votes. I would assume you also cannot vote for a time period if you haven't already done so.

Also, not only is the chance SL gets on in the next 5 hours extremely minimal, but I think he's said all he's going to say. He's not really going to convince us out of lynch, and a claim is pointless for someone getting lynched. The only real regret is not having enough time to force someone else to claim.

His silence was unintentional, but most would consider it appropriate in retrospect. This didn't make him any less suspicious, however, and thus Shadowlink (Chrono, Anti-Kill Townie) was lynched.

Much to the chagrin of Omni, Chrono was no slouch with the sword. He was prepared to counter-attack should he be assaulted!

Chrono's Counter ability was activated by Omni's hammer, and Omni (Mune, Independent Twin-Mason) was killed with one blow from Chrono's sword.

Inexplicably, Scamp (Masa, Independent twin-mason) bore the same injury as Omni... leaving the dead bodies of Chrono, Omni, and Scamp at the feet of the remaining heroes.

All is not lost for Chrono, as a Chrono Doll is hidden in one of the time periods. Should it be found, he may be able to be revived.


Despite all the excitement from Day 1, a sobering thought remains: Lavos is still in hiding, and needs to be found.

I actually have no idea if I can choose to block EoT. My assumption is no because I pick a time period that people cannot go to, and it would be kind of hard to not allow a tie vote on a time period (or a split vote).

I've had multiple games with the stipulation that you can't directly claim your character or role, meaning everyone can only claim other roles (mind games!) or they have to say who they are with careful wording. IN ANY CASE, you know who I am already. Me saying directly that I am this character changes nothing, and I would be surprised if it actually made anyone believe me more than before without doing so.

That's nothing too unusual, there could be a role-blocker who got lucky and blocked the mafia killer, or there was a doc who protected the victim the mafia chose, just going by more common roles.
