you're not scumhunting, as usual. you're arguing over something town agreed to do extremely early in the day.

the point was for town to come to an agreement on the procedure of voting for areas. we came to that conclusion without your help. to be completely unbias and to avoid EoT by having mixed votes that eventually tie, i suggested just going in the order suggested by the timeline of the video game. then to make things more unbias, Pierce suggested that we don't go to the first place but rather skip it just in case my intentions were to go there (600 A.D.) for w/e reason. so now we're moving to Prehistoric because:

- its next in the timeline
- its completely unbias
- its not EoT

the initial start of the game where i asked players to give their opinion about time travel and how we should move forward on it was an opportunity to see everyone's thoughts on it i.e. get scum's feet wet without piggybacking.

choosing a time period in votes =/= voting players. you cannot find scummy behavior in votes for certain time periods when we don't know what the time periods do for us in general. therefore, just like we always do, we can look over the vote count history and see how people have been voting for a scum track history.

do you understand

im not scumhunting? I said what I thought was scummy behavior and even specifically noted the people in violation of it. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if there was at least one scum in Pierce Shaya Omni and Scamp. That is unless Scamp didn't actually follow the plan as he last said, waiting for Pierce's reply to that.

can you explain how town not coming to a majority vote/agreement on how to choose time traveling in an attempt to prevent EoT ties isn't necessary? if u think it's the wrong approach why haven't you stepped up and said what u think the best approach is since this issue has been ongoing since nearly the beginning of the game

I really don't like the whole way people are going about this time travel voting here. Trying to get backing before stepping in. People need to step up and do what they think is right and best for the town before seeking approval first.

It's an easy way to test ideas without committing (which is good for scum), it's a good way for scum to mask themselves as townies (by following and pledging support to townies), etc.

Look at this here:

I'm sure because of this Pierce is already going to have some thought bias for Edrees, Shaya, Omni, and Scamp all because they agree with him and are ready to follow in his footsteps. Now what if one of them is scum? Not good not good.

Stop giving scum chances to just get their feet wet a lil. People need to learn to jump in so we can really see players thoughts so everyone can't just parrot one another.
I thought we've been through this the entire thread? The point was to just agree on a time period. We seemed to be agreeing on 600AD for awhile, but then Pierce suggested that we avoid anyone's first suggestion, so we're trying to agree on 65 million BC since it doesn't seem to be anyone's first suggestion, might as well agree on it and vote together. Better yet, if you disagree with this procedure, do you have a better idea of how to do it?

And with that I'm finally going to give my vote at 12:30 PST, 3:30 EST. I just want to make sure we have 3-4 of us on board in agreement before I do so, but I'll probably put it in even if i have to be the first at that time.

It's possible your better idea is to just have people step up and vote what they believe is best for town. I can see your point, this way mafia doesn't influence our choice, but at least it makes it less likely for mafia to get their first choice since we need a bunch of people's agreements before we put in our votes. Also, half the point is to prevent a tie and ending up in the EoT, which we seemed to agree that is more likely a punishment zone than note. Our structured vote process is to achieve these two points, and if you have a better way to achieve this than the way we are doing it I'd like to hear the idea.

There, I went through with it. You guys can follow suit now.

Wow, I like how adumbrodeus was "so" distracted that the very next post after he was accused he came to defend himself. Seems like he was monitoring the thread but just not posting. If you were truly inactive or busy with other mafia games you wouldn't have noticed this so soon.

Did I ever say I wasn't following, I was aware enough of the conversation, but wanted to let it run further in it's course before making a comment.

what conversation? you didn't post a single thing for 3 days and we're getting dangerously close to the deadline. either you don't care enough to scumhunt for mafia or you're mafia yourself

unvote
Vote: Adumbrodeus

btw the "conversation" between Chibo and i have been the least important topics of discussion since you've been gone most likely. if everyone waited for something to jump on there'd be nothing to jump on because everyone is waiting. i call bs

Out of everyone, I've been doing by far the most scumhunting of anyone, accussing me of being lazy in terms of scumhunting... well indict everyone.

But, I'm sure you noticed that I jump on things that people do, that's my primary style, limited interaction means less to work with.

But you're right, this isn't the time to slack off, I should've found something else to pry at.

@everyone:

Since we're getting close to the deadline, please post your top 3 lynch choices with reasoning.

vote: adumbrodeus
Same as DMG? Waiting for a bandwagon to vote, why? What's your reason?

Omni:

A few people have, yourself included, but most not recently.

My Top 3:

1. DMG

Seems too interested in getting on the easy wagon, and goes for the easiest target in his suspicions, no real attempt at scumhunting throughout the day, very little substance, and very inactive. Pretty classic scumtells.

2. Rajam

Extremely inactive, 99% of the time, boarders on useless, and I didn't like his odd bump in post quality. A little scummy, and bad for lylo, so two for two here.

3. Shadowlink

I'm getting a slight town read from him, but he doesn't seem to have any idea how to scumhunt, and his constant flavor talk is ridiculously distracting. I don't want him in lylo at all.

Joel, I thought scum initially, but because he asked to be replaced I'm thinking that his odd play is that he simply got frustrated. I'm not sure yet, but I'd still be willing to go for a Joel lynch.

*facepalm*
You said you found me suspicious, so why now? Why not just let the vote sit on me and provide pressure.

cause i was asked to unvote by edrees and waited to re-vote cause i was watching other people too. i've been trying to tell people you were pretty scummy, and finally omni seems to agree, that's why.

I think you should all take a break and check out the several new constructive threads that have been made in the past week.

Then continue on with the entertaining show you're giving the rest of us :)
buzz off, seriously.
bbr is allowed to have social threads, too, y'know. just cause we're not posting daily in other threads doesn't mean we're not paying attention.

this is probably one of the hugest jerk-actions i've seen since jumpman was kicked out of the bbr.

This is how that post should have read:

To joel: When did I ask you to unvote? O_o ? Not that I disagree with ur vote on adumbrodeus, i find it okay, but ..huh?
you didn't? then it was someone else, i just remember a red name. i'll check the past pages for it.

yea it was shaya, sorry. confused you with him.

also, apparently i voted for dmg during that unvote part, cause he was so inactive, but unvoted him again.

Hmm, Scamp, I really thought I remembered you saying you were down. I'll check again in a bit.

Chibo, you get more and more suspicious every day. Do you honestly think I'm not considering that anyone could be Mafia? My point was previously explained that if town is working together, Mafia could blend, but they would have absolutely NO CONTROL over time travel. Since Mafia is already blending, controlling time travel is legit. If we are disorganized, Mafia will be able to take advantage because they can communicate with each other and WILL be organized. The best way to combat this is with teamwork, not chaos.

I'm afraid that I'm tunneling Shadowlink too hard. I noticed myself get upset a vote shifted away from him. I'm not taking my vote off him, but I'm keeping a harder eye on everyone.

Overswarm miscounted the votes for prehistoric, it's 3. So unless someone votes for 2300 AD or 2 for 600 AD, we'll be going to prehistoric.

I'd also like Shadowlink to answer Omni's questions. Time to push him into L-2.

I'd prefer to oust Rajam after his jekel and hyde but seems like nobody is on board with that as much as they are for SL and others.

So he's at L-2?
I'm online for the next... 10 hours or so at least.

Shall I be the one who puts him at L-1? (I ask because I don't want two lynch votes to go in at once and put us into twilight if we're waiting for role claims).

Chibo, are you still trying to make us believe that your earlier actions in the day don't connect you and SL together?

Did you not read my explanation for the time vote?
You never replied at all to my post on how what you were doing was anti-town.

I don't like explanations based on "anti-town behavior". I also found it odd how quickly after you were pressured for your time vote you jumped on the most useless flavour post of the entire game as why what you did was an "oops" (and at that point I considered that to be possibly out-of-game communication related).

To top it off Shadowlink is on his last legs and you refuse to comment on whether or not you think he is scum/would vote for him. I'm not sure how well it would sit with me or others if you said "I haven't read enough" (or "I'm not sure") when you proclaimed yourself as the "pro scum hunter".

OS didn't say who wanted to have a replacement, can we assume that ShadowLink may be this person?

Out of game info here, but I've read in the past that SL has on-going health issues. So a sudden drop out like this may be the reason.

If we're to assume SL isn't going to be here anymore, what do you suggest?
