Why not all three?I would honestly assert that Hades has a chance. I do not feel as though we need to advocate for an either/or fallacy here!
But yeah, Hades is a good choice too, especially with that wicked hair! But, I would love to see the two goddesses duke it out in Smash over Hades in my opinion. Too many good choices is the problem here.

The Monado was probably also unrelated. He probably played the game a bit at some point (whether it be for research purposes or because it's a fantastic game) and enjoyed it. No not really, but the Dark Pit ending in the trailer is something odd to note about, even if he appeared in the trailer, it's even more strange it's done in a "sequel hook" fashion.

He also asserted that all revealed characters would have a page dedicated to them on the website; yet, as of current, Game & Watch is missing. So, for all intents and purposes, he is contradicting himself, or Game & Watch is deconfirmed. I choose to believe the former.

Objectively speaking; If it is relevant to Smash, it has some influence, even if that influence is negligible.
Ok then, I was probably grasping harder on the design, but still the interesting Dark Pit figure part is rather strange, I'll just tell you that as my final conclusion from the picture.

Yeah, I agree with this, from the picture here, it is definitely related to Smash with the Nintendo figures facing each other.
Nah. Mewtwo has more blatant "hints" in his favor; in fact, I would not assert that they are hints, more like allusions.
He only has Sakurai's opinion of Mewtwo back at E3 2013 in his favor so far, that alone isn't much, but still it's worth noting.

Sakurai's assertion is more than can be said for ANY character; there was also the Greninja trailer allusion, you do not just "forget" to animate a pelvic fin along with webbed fingers. After that, there was his "forbidden 7" data which is not a direct hint, per se. However, it is safe to presume that characters that were intended to be in Brawl might be considered for Smash 4. Mewtwo is also a veteran (which is a hint in and of itself, otherwise, we would not be considering characters like Captain Falcon or Ganondorf "shoe-ins.")

Since when did Greninja not have a pelvic fin or webbed fingers?! The answer is simple; during the Smash Direct where everyone was expecting Mewtwo right after the Charizard reveal (Pokemon Origins probably gave most people the idea).
I'd love him in as much as Dark Pit, but Dark Pit has more in his favor than the ruler of the Underworld right now.
I think the nods to anything for Dark Pit is just people grasping for straws.
I think that was more to hide Greninja's identity, since the webbed fingers would have immediately given it away.
To be fair; Doc Louis has more in his favor than over half of the potential newcomers. That is not really saying much though.
