The 3 is on all of them, and yea Computer level is the most plausible assumption. after all you can see that Marth is not yet selected because he is transparent on the P1 slot, so that's got to be the comp level.

The pixels on the Ridley square don't line up; fake.
Something like this is incredibly easy to produce, as well.

If the person taking these pictures was doing it secretly, why is he so close to the screen? That doesn't make any sense.

Never mind that; why the hell are there only 3 rows? I am not a design expert, but I feel as though a fourth row would be fairly obvious. But you know... then we would see the entire thing! Why leak that when you can remain ambiguous and hide details that would otherwise prove your leak?

That thing actually support the argument, Why?! no man on his right mind would think to do so if he wanted to fake, going through all the rouble and taking care of the details of every little, why would he forget the hand cursor ? maybe they let the hand cursor go!

On the other hand, it would be hiding the one thing that could kill the leak in an instant.

Any leaked newcomer image could prove or disprove the leak fairly easily. How convenient that there isn't one.

I'm sorry if I'm posting this in a bunch of different places, but I want one for posterity, one for points, and one for discussion.

Okay, I'm done analyzing this "leak"'s roster. Judging from the supposed "leaked" photos posted here kindly by BluePikmin11...

I would say this is the layout of the roster (the locked characters are represented by cheeseburgers).

After careful analysis, and based on logic and the general consensus on what characters are in or not, I am confident that this is the roster they were going for...

Now that everyone has claimed their burgers, this is what it looks like.

Seems pretty solid, honestly.

Though there's quite a few discrepancies in it involving the players section, so I find it hard to believe overall.

Yes, paying attention to details is part of creating fakes, it wont gain a mileage if it wasn't like that. being awfully detailed and missing an obvious detail such the hand on the P1 would never set right with me.

Was this the first leak that tried to show that Ridley existed as a playable character?

Because looking back at things, the only leaks that leaked (or faked) characters in the game were Palutena, Chrom, Mewtwo, Falco, Shulk, and Mii.

He tried to find a roster icon that didn't show any part of Ridley in the very corner so that if he took the picture at a really awkward angle... you would not see anything. Just like the leak, yay!

I think it's a small detail. On top of that, the roster itself seems pretty easy to fake. It's just a blank background with some basic shapes for menu features and has pictures of locks all over it. While it looks nice, there isn't much about the roster that suggests that a good deal of time and effort went into it. So I think someone who didn't put that much effort into it could very easily forget such a detail.

Really, I see nothing to suggest that this is anything more than a nice looking fake.

There is absolutely no precedent to having the CPU level be so large an prominent right in the center of the selection spot.
And why would a CPU be represented by the Smash symbol and not a CPU icon?
Why would the roster be so short and wide? Especially when there isn't much above or below the roster... how does that make sense?
How can this person leak small pieces of the same picture at extremely tilted angles whenever he wants to? Unless he owns the picture and is choosing to take clear, tilted pictures. Which makes no sense. If Mega Man and Ridley are unlocked in one and not the other that suggests he has played the game for a good amount of time, and has it all to himself, so why small pieces? It's definitely fake.

Blue Ridley isn't enough to make me want this.

Edit: And why would the leak be in English? With full English names? Even footage of the Smash Direct calls Bowser- Koopa. And Mega Man- Rock Man. This was just convenience to the leaker. These would have to be Smash Wii U screenshots, the demo isn't for the 3ds, and the Wii U version isn't just over a couple months away... it's closer to half a year.

Yea, I see the drips on the computer screen now. (Also, that is a Metroid character (Ridley) just look at the icon)
The thickness of the lines on the select slots on the bottom don't look consistent.
That Metroid icon doesn't look completely accurate to the one on the website.
And what may be very helpful to debunk...

These icons don't match the sizes of the ones on the website:

The top of her head is slightly more cut off on the website.

The full top half of the inside of Sonic's shoe is on the website's icon, and the triangle of background inbetween his two pieces of fur by his side is more cut off-

And the same thing can be said for the other couple of icons I looked at. They're smaller icons.

Also, I think Sonic will be named Sonic the Hedgehog because that's what the Website calls him- same with Pikmin and Olimar
And I don't see why every name is in all caps. This would have been easy to make with the right skills and some time. If I had done this, I would have set up a more realistic roster and cleaned the **** off my monitor, whoever did this doesn't really know what they're doing.
