My question is why he didn't move the camera just slightly to the left to show the one unconfirmed newcomer that could prove to the world that he is for real?

Unless of course it's fake and he just teased Ridley there because he has a fake image there that would discredit him if he actually showed it.

Also, @ Kenith Kenith I'd take Tetra over those other choices.

He's not teasing Ridley. He just showed a "Y", and it seems to be blue, he's clearly showing Anthony.

Either way, that doesn't change the main point I was making. If he was real, he should have no problem actually showing Ridley/Anthony to prove his credibility. Unless it's fake, and the image in that slot is also fake and would prove the leak false.

The leaker tried to be too safe. The pictures don't actually reveal anything except possibly certain # of characters per series. There could be another row after the ones we've seen. It can't be discredited until we get the final roster or a Mario newcomer, Zelda newcomer, 4th DK character, and stuff like that. It didn't leak a single character. A blue Metroid character that ends in a Y, the name looks too non-spaced out to be Anthony, so I think it hints Ridley, but that's not much. I guess Ridley getting revealed purple would debunk it, but still, there is no effort shown, and nothing interesting to take from it.

No, the leak is so awkwardly shaped that I couldn't even fit it in the Roster Maker...
It continues from the top right to the bottom left all in the same 3 rows.

Well, that's a little interesting.

So, can anyone find a model that matches up with that? Could it be easily faked? Why is the leaker able to unlock characters?

...Why can't he move the camera slightly to the right?

Over in the Sal Romano leak thread, @Pieman0920 posted this screenshot and @Chris Baker wrote some names on it. I'm sure some things could be moved around, but it does seem to make sense to me.

Which if true, looks like that would make this whole thing fake. I can't imagine they'd use the EXACT same art as an older game for Smash when every other character gets brand new art.

Well, it certainly looks similar, and it seems to be in the same pose. How convenient that the leaker was physically incapable of moving half an inch to the right.

Really though, shouldn't that be a red flag right there?

Also, looking more closely at it, shouldn't the text for "Pac-Man" be closer to the edges like Mega Man's name is? It looks more centered like Sonic's name is.

I'm saying this is fake.

Guys, I hate to say it, but for me, revealing that space for Pac-Man makes this fake. Not that I don't want to believe Pac-Man is in the game. CLEARLY I want him in the game. But that is the exact image from Pac-Man Party. No other character is using old artwork, so why should Pac-Man? Here, I'll show you.



EDIT: @ Kenith Kenith made a post as well. So yeah, I was believing these screenshots up until now, but that Pac-Man picture kind of ruined it. :(

I love how the last picture was supposed to be "the last he could get at the booth"

He must have seen how nobody believed his leak, so he decided to quickly edit that Pac-Man picture onto his roster, it would make sense as a last minute thing, he probably did it poorly and that's why it's the blurriest of the 4.
But at least we see a tenth of Pac-Man, we didn't even get that much out of Ridley.

And it looks like it's been debunked. I knew it. Right when I saw the new picture I said "Yes! It can get debunked now!"
I'm psychic.

Actually from the looks of things, it's still alive. According to the Rumors/Leaks thread, the debunked picture was leaked by someone with a different ID.

I don't think that Pac-Man was created by the same leaker as before.

So THAT leak is dead, but the other one if fair game.
Quality's off on the Pac one and Ridley is moved next to Sonic.

Magnes is a ninja.

The leaker is with a different ID, not from the same guy. Suspense is filled.
