I noticed for each game a newcomer doesn't have a home stage... I wonder if the same will happen for SM4SH.
Ness and Captain Falcon for 64, Marth and Roy for Melee, and R.O.B. for Brawl.
I'm going to blame the first 2 on the lack of many Smash 64 stages.
There was a Fire Emblem one planned, but I guess it would have only represented Marth, and not Roy, so Roy still wouldn't have had a stage.
I think that if a series gets 2 newcomers, it's a likely candidate to fill this concept.
Like, on my roster, I have Chrom and Anna, and while Chrom already has a stage, I doubt Anna would get anything. Maybe there would be another Awakening stage not related to anybody, there could easily be 2, and this is especially possible if there's going to be a different one on the Wii U. But the Wii U could always just get a Radiant Dawn stage.
However, if DK were to get 2 newcomers and both Dixie and K Rool were playable, I would expect a stage for each, not just because we don't have any new DK stages yet, but also because of the large amount of choices to rep both characters. I'm thinking there will be a Returns stage on the 3ds, and Gangplank Galleon and one of the most popular Tropical Freeze levels turned into a stage on the Wii U. Perfect for both IMO.
But neither are guaranteed to get both characters, so I'm not counting on either way happening.
And the obscure historical retro didn't have one either...
I'd say that could happen again, especially if we get somebody like Diskun, I doubt he'd have a stage, but if Sheriff made it I think he's have a stage, and if a popular newcomer like Takamaru, Mach Rider,
or Lip made it, I'd expect a stage.
A lot of the major choices already have what could be considered their stages: Palutena, Chrom, Ridley...
Interesting concept.
