Oh, I was talking about Tak and the Power of Juju.By Juju I meant the ****ing moron from Xenoblade
He would be my most wanted character if he made sense. Why want any animoo characters, when you could want the superior choice from Japanese media?
Tak was a weird series. Im surprised anyone else remembers it.I would prefer Tak, but that's okay too.
Though my real pipedream is clearly Ridley. The only reason I'm using Spyro as my avatar is because Ridley couldn't fit in such a tiny box.
Tak's nose intrigued me when I was little, so I haven't forgotten that series.Tak was a weird series. Im surprised anyone else remembers it.
It depends on if there will be time "slotted" for Smash during the Digital Event. So we're expecting Ryu right?
Welp...I guess Reckless Safety Notice Man confirmed....What if they reveal a surprise character on the direct (A kind of surprise character), and save the characters everyone is anticipating for E3.
A Smash character has never been revealed outside of a Nintendo Direct or something directly related to Smash.
OBJECTION!The FE concert is Japanese exclusive, so it'd be really awkward to reveal him like that. More than likely, Sakurai will probably express his love for the Fire Emblem series and his contributions to it.
Overruled because your post lacks a Phoenix Wright picture.OBJECTION!
Shulk was revealed in a Japan-exclusive direct.
lol. You know what could happen though? They could release and, let people rage for a couple days, then release , , Ryu, or any other character that would bring mega hype at E3.Welp...I guess Reckless Safety Notice Man confirmed....
That's a lot of characters to be revealed in a short time though...I know most are veterans/clones but still...I feel at E3 (with the Smash direct on Sunday) we'll get at most two character reveals...Sakurai's gonna wanna spread this hype for a long as possible!lol. You know what could happen though? They could release and, let people rage for a couple days, then release , , Ryu, or any other character that would bring mega hype at E3.
I would say they would wait to see how much profit Roy turns up, but this would be the perfect time to reveal a surprise character or two.
Do you really consider Young Link and Pichu to be hype worthy? I mean, as much as I like the two, I can't deny that Young Link isn't the most popular, and Pichu's fanbase is comprised of three people. (Exaggeration on Pichu but you get the point) If there is any hype generated I think it will only be because people will expect the veterans they want now more than ever. That's a lot of characters to be revealed in a short time though...I know most are veterans/clones but still...I feel at E3 (with the Smash direct on Sunday) we'll get at most two character reveals...Sakurai's gonna wanna spread this hype for a long as possible!
It's funny how quickly he turned from an absolute nobody to a running joke that every knows. Especially after that infamous RTC day.
I don't think E3 is a good time to any potentially unpopular reveals. The best you can do to not detract from the hype train is a silent announcement on the site without much fanfare.lol. We should be prepared for anything at this point.Watch the reveal on Sunday be a character that isn't Wolf, Ryu, or Roy
Largely but I personally don't think he'll be announced during the mini-direct. I feel like he would be someone revealed during the E3 Direct given the size of the announcement. I'm still thinking for the mini Direct but there have been plenty of times in the past where our expectations were dashed. Did anyone honestly foresee coming before they were officially revealed during their respective presentations? So we're expecting Ryu right?
If they think that little of a character why would they add them in the first place though?I don't think E3 is a good time to any potentially unpopular reveals. The best you can do to not detract from the hype train is a silent announcement on the site without much fanfare.
Gengar? (I can always dream...)What if they reveal a surprise character on the direct (A kind of surprise character), and save the characters everyone is anticipating for E3.
Yeah. I'm expecting characters like Ryu, Roy and Wolf....Largely but I personally don't think he'll be announced during the mini-direct. Maybe. I'd argue that the concert may be preferred because it's specifically for Fire Emblem fans and, thinking big picture wise, Marth and Roy were the ones that broke the barrier that lead FE to international acclaim. In a weird way, FE joining Smash Bros is what ultimately saved the series. As I said earlier, he's coming in a month's time either way.Looking beyond the initial connection of "FE Concert + Sakurai = Roy confirmed," why on earth would such an "OMG HYPE" character get shown off at a dinky concert in Japan? If anything, Roy will get revealed Sunday and, at the concert, Sakurai will dish about his FE fandom and how he "tries to show the greatness of its characters in Smash" or something.
Because Roy's popularity is mostly rooted in Japan.Looking beyond the initial connection of "FE Concert + Sakurai = Roy confirmed," why on earth would such an "OMG HYPE" character get shown off at a dinky concert in Japan? If anything, Roy will get revealed Sunday and, at the concert, Sakurai will dish about his FE fandom and how he "tries to show the greatness of its characters in Smash" or something.
This is pretty much what I thought too. I feel like Ryu will be revealed at a later date at a larger event, since he's a far bigger deal.Looking beyond the initial connection of "FE Concert + Sakurai = Roy confirmed," why on earth would such an "OMG HYPE" character get shown off at a dinky concert in Japan?
