Could we still count :4darkpit: as a villain? I know most would say he's an antihero, but considering how all the Gods are a***holes in KI and he was stopping :4pit: from his quest and working for a goddess would would be considered a villain from her attitude and her thoughts on human kind

Dark Pit is arguably the most heroic as unlike the gods, he outright says that the humans are suffering for the petty god wars

Nope. He doesn't do anything particularly wicked or have a role as a primary antagonist, ergo I would not consider him a villain.

I dont consider dark put a villain either. he probably has a better moral compass than Viridi at least.

Does nothing particularly villainous and even does a few stupid things in the name of Justice (breaking his leg on a Boss's face, crashing a chariot into a portal, Taking a trip to hell)

Villain is not the right word at all. maybe a vigilante :p

and its disappointing really. . .after seeing that in the Japanese version it really made me like the dude more. Much better than the cheeziness that is that and palutena's line after :/ I wish there was a really accurate Japanese translation so I could see the differences >.>

I know a couple of differences off the bat.

When Pit meets Magnus for the first time, they go to a hot spring to rejuvenate, and Magnus asks why Pit gets in fully clothed. In the Japanese version, Pit says he won't let Magnus see his butt, and Magnus says, "I don't want to see that thing!"; in the English version, Pit talks about the "angel's code of conduct", and how he doesn't want to "steam the sacred buns" - the euphemism speaks for itself.

There's also an instance of Pit and Palutena calling Viridi a tsundere in the Japanese version; in the English version, they call her out for helping them when she had previously sworn blood vengeance against them.

As I recall, Sakurai wrote the script himself and told the Treehouse staff to take whatever creative liberties they needed to, knowing that a lot of the gags wouldn't translate over necessarily in the localised version.

The real question is whether or not the dialogue between viridi and pit still exists in chapter 16.

We already call her a tsundere anyway :p

It was most annoying when they did something like that to Fire Emblem: Awakening's Summer Scramble DLC, but you probably know about that already. gg Nintendo of America :(

I just remembered something else involving possible translation. After Chapter 13 (chapter 20) Viridi brings up Arlon in the present tense. I have no idea if I am overthinking it (likely) or not but it's probably more clear in the original version :X

I think the English version cuts a lot closer to the bone than the Japanese version, from what I've heard.

It may have something to do with Ganondorf's Final Smash. But I guess you can probably always ask one of the moderators here if it's at all possible for it to be reopened.....

if literally anyone cares I may have poked a hole in my own theory because Viridi only mentions Phosphora in the Dark Pit Palutena guidance. It might be because of arlon's lack of role in the Wii u version but I dont rememebr the lightning chariot having a trophy.

RIP arlon and your death star. You were too fancy for this world.

So I was talking to some of my friends who play Smash casually, and they told me some of the characters they want to see in Smash 4.

Curious about your guys' reaction, I wanted to ask how would you guys feel if:


Toadsworth joined the game?


A team of Mario and Yoshi joined Smash 4?

I kid you not. They actually voted for these characters.

Sad thing is, neither of those are as ridiculous as some of the suggestions on Miiverse.

I would genuinelg prefer toadsworth to a regular toad.

I mean i prefer captain toad over both but that moustache and cane is more than toad can handle.
