In relation to Miyamoto/F-Zero, yeah. It seems like we get a new excuse every year:
"Thought people were tired of it"
"Don't know what to add to make it truly great."
"Need a new control interface."
The way Nintendo treats F-Zero reminds me of how Capcom treats everything they have that's not Monster Hunter or Street Fighter. Relagated to cameos and shout outs, but never actually gets anything new. Shame, since F-Zero is easily in my top five favorite series of all time. I love it so much, and seeing it get nothing for over a decade is incredibly frustrating.
As for Wario Land, that's another series close to me (Hell, Wario Land was my childhood and made Wario my favorite game character ever) that I'd love to see the next addition to. But I also see that as pretty unlikely.
I go to bed at night thinking about this. Then I cry myself to sleep because I know it will never be.
