Olimar is low-tier as well, and I know a guy that can destroy everybody in the local scene with him single-handedly.

And our local scene is very good.

I actually hope Frogger will be the next Nintendo star, making a Banjo-Kazooie type of game with him.
(And if you want a compadre for him, why not give him a love-eat relationship with a fly?)

Maybe.....just maybe.......Nintendo actually buys something again.

I see it now. Totally happening.

If anything, I'd like a 3rd party or Ninty to buy Konami and/or MGS. (IF they are going down) .
Though maybe Konami is quitting gaming... who knows.

SEGA technically is in posession of Atlus now. So let's get an SMT character. Jack Frost puts the competition on ice!
Other than that, SEGA's eggs basically all lie in a blue hedgehog shaped basket.
PSA: Hedgehogs do not make good egg baskets.

I like this new game.

I choose. Rouge. But more realistically I think it would be perfect if it was just Sonic, Knuckles and Amy (with her hammer.)

Ryo and San consistently place high with him in their areas, and Im pretty sure an Ike got top 8 in a regional.

You have no clue what you're talking about. If Ike is bad for not winning a regional then only 5 characters really are viable.

You guys do not know your Sega characters much, do you? If Nintendo got Sega, I can think of a number of non-Sonic characters to put in Smash. Or are we back to talking about 3rd Party chances?

Thing is, Sega usually has...had quirky characters, Opa Opa, Bonanza brothers, Ulala, problem with Sega is they think Sonic stales too quickly so they don't keep a certain playstyle, and only focus on Sonic

To those of you who want Inkling, I highly disagree with having them in Smash. Roy and Lucas came from already established and long running franchises. Splatoon isn't even released yet, and for it to already have a character would be very disrespectful to already existing series that aren't represented in Smash yet, especially Golden Sun, Advance Wars, Rhythm Heaven, etc.

While I don't want Inklings, you're praising Mother way to much. 3 games, one was localized, and Europe didn't see Earthbound till the eshop version happened

It really wouldn't be, though.

Adding Inkling does not deny other characters the chance of appearing later on in as additions to the roster, nor is it a display of bad faith towards said characters.

I mean you can think what you want but until I see Ike consistently winning or placing high at a tournament with killers he looks like butt. He is so insanely easy to counter pick and I'd argue he doesn't really have a good matchup against anybody. (Even matchups at best.)

You have never seen a good Ike player.

I know good Ike players. I live with one. Your credentials for defining what qualifies a viable character is strikingly obtuse.
