This is basically what would have happened if the ESRB leak had ended up fake. Because in all honesty, this was every bit as believable based on CSS images alone. This same troll could just as easily have made a video documenting how he photoshopped Doc's render from the preexisting one.

I didn't care about Rayman, but at the end of the day,( even if I'm fine with this), it does potentially mean we aren't getting a new character after Mewtwo. Rayman would've been something, even if it wasn't something I didn't care for.

I actually had a concept for Anna a long time ago somewhere. I think she would be interesting, personally, and she's probably the only recurring character in the entire series for more than two games.

The difference was the ESRB leak had playable footage and a lot of the screen were soon matched via the Pic of the Day. This is why you don't rely on CSS images. It comes down to being skeptical. People are too quick to jump onto something without putting much question into it. We had footage without an announcer sound bite or actual game footage. I said wait until you have actual footage of the character before trying to say it's real. Trust, but verify, basically.

This was quite immaculate, but didn't reach that level. Still better than virtually every other fake out there...this guy's set a high bar for others hoping to follow in his footsteps.

This is why I said you don't trust CSS. Anyone can make a believable CSS and they do it all the time.

I would be really hyped for Roy and Lyn in SSB4. Roy could get in with some sort of Melee based DLC pack and Lyn could get in as a standalone DLC character.

I just hope they make Roy like he is in Project M where he's arguably a better character than Marth or at least on the same level as him.

@HextupleyooDOT is a pretty cool guy, and an extremely talented individual. He was actually the guy who debunked the original CSS leak by proving the font was different.

Just to tell you guys that if you ever see high quality renders, they are most definitely from Hex if they turn out to be fake.

This guy also did a Klonoa one that is way legit looking.

Eh, i'd say FE and AW are about even. This is coming from a guy that played AW more so than FE.

I was rooting for Andy to be playable in this game or at least anyone in the AW series.

Yeah, thing is, if everyone could make a professional video CSS with the moving flame pattern in the background like this guy, everyone would. People believed this guy and none of the others for a reason...he produced something no one else had come close to matching.

I was close to considering the leak real. The lack of gameplay is what made me remain skeptical over the whole thing.

That said, it was a **** move, but it really shows how you cannot trust stuff on the Internet right away.

This beats the Palutena leak in credibility, anyway. It was really believable.

The one thing the ESRB leak had that no other leak had was gameplay footage that confirmed the whole thing. Shulk's trailer was just sealed the deal. (And even so, some people still argued how the leak wasn't 100% true, impressively enough.)

Totally understandable that people fell for it. Hex is a wizard after all.
