I'm mostly not even focused on the character at this point. The fact that Sakurai might officially announce a retirement at the end is what gets me.

I can't believe it's the end.

On January 21st, 1999, I wasn't even born.

On November 21st, 2001... wait, I was born in 2002. We're not quite there yet.

On January 31st, 2008, I was about to start elementary school and had no idea I'd own a DS a couple years later.

On September 13th, 2014, I was in Grade 7 and in the midst of my first Smash speculation cycle. I had gotten into the franchise in Grade 5, two years prior.

On December 7th, 2018, I was in Grade 11 and hell-bent on getting into competitive Smash.

Now, it's October 5th, 2021. I'm in my second year of university and training to become the best K. Rool in my region. The hype train is about to reach its Final Destination... to everyone I shared this journey with, thank you. It's truly been a wild ride.
