lolnoNormal landings have either 2 frames of lag (soft landing, which is just landing without fastfall) or 4 frames of lag (If you are fastfalling or you air-dodge). When you land with a Zair (Which is what snaking does) you have 0 frames of lag, so you are technically faster than if you just air dodged or SH'd.
Not being mean at all here peoples but u have players like RPSI who learn all the technique lingo crap and then u have players like me who feel it! RPSI go and air dodge and jab and then snake and jab. It is definitely faster. lol people can even see it. The dust properties that come off the ground are even faster haha. Sorry but even esam who looked at the frame or whatever said it was faster.lolno
you land with regular landing lag.
It's just a really good mix-up because it mimics an aerial so the opponent's reaction would be the same as to avoid the aerial, but then you have less landing lag than an aerial attack.
It also seems like you're doing things faster because you're adding more inputs into your play, meaning your hands are doing more.
I'm guessing you play Q and Ken now?
Did someone call?
this10thisIce Climbers without Metaknight doesn't seem too fun, to be honest.
That would be terrible if that were the case. Like I said I don't test frame data. But it allows me to have more control over spacing and allows me to attack when landing faster than if i allowed a full short hop air dodge. So even if the landing part is false. It has upgraded my "quickness"no...like I said before...the only thing that happens is he's invincible for less time and he extends his hurtbox lol.
whats more likely is that he's just used to fastfalling out of ropesnake, so it feels faster to him.

Here is another example. Other lucas players Di with nair. That makes no sense to me as I use fair. People claim that all yer attacks do the same thing for DI as long as its the same speed. Well I contend to say that I definitely "feel" that fair gives lucas the best control over his body. (Unless it's ness back throw. lol then use bair haha).
Thanks PS, because other people don't trust a member of the Smash Lab to provide accurate frame data.so, because i was 100% sure about the z-air having 0 lag i just went and tested it in frame advance mode
lucas's z-air has normal landing lag, so an airdodge accomplishes the same thing. now what may be occurring is that you feel more comfortable buffering moves out of a zair but in reality the only thin you are doing is losing a few invincibility frames you could have by air dodging into the ground
bourhgt you you by NC's future pr'd member logic :D
