Megaman only isn't in so they can add him as DLC later. Of course people will buy him so more money for Capcom.

Same with Phoenix Wright, Strider, and Frank West. I can guarantee you those 4 will be DLC, idk who the other 2 will be (there is 8 spots for DLC in the game, Jill and Shuma are already confirmed, + those 4 are the most likely)

Triple edit:For those that didn't watch the mvc 3 combo video, at the end it stated that if the video received enough likes it would determine if strider would be dlc. If this point has been mentioned already then my bad lol.

He confirms that the problem with Strider is the licensing issue. A lot of people knew and speculated that, so it's not a surprise to many. My question about it is, why didn't they just say this a long time ago. Instead of coming out and saying he didn't fit the concept of the game, why not just say there were some licensing issues that had to be worked out if Strider were to ever appear in the game and leave it at that. Things like that are kinda annoying about the way Capcom has handled the promotion for this game. There's been too much double talk.

I wonder what the licencing issues could possibly be? Why wouldn't the makers of the character Strider want him to make an appearance in a modern game? Either they are disband or bought out and Capcom is having difficulties figuring out who they need to get the licence from, or the creators are just being D-bags similar to Nintendo when they wouldn't let MLG stream brawl. Just to be seen and be jerks.

Well the tournament wasn't completely free. It was me and Yogi in GF (lol me and him practice all the time though). Also, I met a legit Link player who confirmed for me that Link vs Snake was 50-50 matchup. I've never played a good Link before, but I started to catch on pretty quickly.

and they are just throwing **** at each other, I could see THAT being 50/50

But Fighting? no way Link has no kill moves, snakes Ftilt out ranges everything link has and snake is faster. How many match ups can snake say im the faster character im about to just utilize my speed to beat you.

also priority link doesnt have any. at all.
