It's actually when your post exceeds a certain amount of characters/line breaks/length. That length just gets pushed down most often when you're quoting somebody.

i remember when i first came into the smash scene, and the communities were really split. Everything was so much more peacefully
I promise you, from this day forwards, i will be the biggest d.ick known to man, and all in efforts to making the melee community completely hate brawl so that they never talk to us again. For those who believe in my cause, join me in the melee pr thread and cause chaos
