that's cool keith; I have been working so hard on Falco too. We should definitely spend one weekend running through some stuff with him. There is so much to him that I have just learned in the last 2 days. Like seriously, there is stuff that he can do that I only see DEHF do only once in a while. Just lemme know if your up for it.

Edit: and I have been deciding whether or not to pick back up on Diddy. I was developing a good diddy for a while. This would be a good opportunity for me to learn some stuff with him too.

he's got diddy for that one ; I actually just went through the match-up chart and it looks like every character that 'counters' falco is either 'countered' (note these are soft counters; I am hesitant to even call them counters) by diddy or has a more winnable match up with him. these two seem like the best two to master (you know with the exception of MK or maybe Marth). They do a good job complementing each other; although there are still some problem match-ups...like Kirby.

I wanted to go to MLG sooooooo bad. I was even going to host DEHF......mostly because he is a god falco and he played my hero, Dark Musician (and lost to his Zelda a few times) and I thought he could teach me falco and teach me some things that Dark Musician uses. With his skill I am sure he picked up on more stuff than I do when I watch him. But unfortunately, I spent the weekend on the beach and waiting tables (and didn't make any good tips). It was a bum weekend. Really regret it.

But I love playing as Zelda.....but I need a better character so I can win. So ever since I saw DEHF play at Hawaii's biggest tourney I have been playing falco (I really believe he is a top 2 character). But I do plan to develop my Zelda game just so I can use her against people who don't know the match-up.

So was this Zelda player any good?

And just in case you don't know who I am, I am the ginger n*gger-haired g@y boy who sucks **** and squeels whenever a pretty boy comes around me......or at least that's how I am known by some. LOL

@ Mike- yea they complement each other, and they are both characters than can be used offensives and defensive very well.

short hopping with the analog is not hard...

I use the analog stick to SHDL with fox in melee, and my hands are slow as ****.

I was never able to do a short hop with the analog stick. I assume you do it about the same as if you wer doing a tilt though.
