Think about it.

Four more veteran characters left...

November 11th is Veteran's day, and it falls on a Sunday....

We are getting a veteran on the 11th, we have to because it is way too perfect to not have a veteran update on that day.

(don't take this seriously, it is just speculation. XD)

Japan however isn't a commonwealth nation and IIRC doesn't have a remembrance day per-se.. but we'll see =D

None of your business.
This is ridiculous. Do you really think a Japanese game director would take the time to view a calandar of AMERICA's holidays to know when to schedule his updates? Please...

Are you serious!?!? i don't know where you live but where i live updates start on Monday and end on Friday. If stage creator was announced on Sunday why does it have "Oct. 29 Mon. 2007"

Technically it's not an American holiday. It is a holiday (albeit under different names) in at least the UK, France and Belgium as well.

But yeah, not in Japan >_>

I dont see why everyone thinks Luigi and Jiggs will be updated.

They are secret characters. They will most probably not be updated.

And an answer to why we havn't had Falcon and Ness:

Just like in Smash 64, they are unlockable. To look like Smash 64.

And it's even more stupid to say something like:

"I predict Ganondorf for tomorrow". - I mean, theres no logic there.

Veteran's day isn't celebrated in Japan, so no. Plus, I think there's gonna be more then 4 newcomers. Don't you want Shiek? And Ganondorf? And Mewtwo?

anyone could be updated though now I feel.

I would of thought King DeeDee to be secret/hidden. There's no way all the Kirby reps are going to be available from start right? I mean that's not even the case with Mario reps right?
Oh wait Mario, Bowser, Peach could work.

Along with Sonic and Snake. I really don't want to see either of those part of the starters. I want to do a task.

I know Nintendo and Sakurai must of pulled some strings. To get these two characters they're also breaking rules.

And Sonic and Snake to me have that secret vibe in my view.

i think this is a stupid idea, but i can actually see them doing it. it doesnt matter if veterans day isnt celebrated in japan, what do they care. to them, its a character update, to us, it seems to fit. its not a big deal at all.

Nah, probably not for Veteran's Day, but I think something cool's coming our way tomorrow (Halloween) possibly, or Thursday (1st of the month, cool stuff happens then, right?).

Veteran's Day includes honoring those that fought in WWII against the Axis (Italy, Germany, Japan) powers. Weren't the Allies the ones who dropped two atom bombs on Japanese soil?

OF COURSE THEY CELEBRATE IT IN JAPAN!

*facepalm*

To reiterate what's already been said, the Japanese don't celebrate Veteren's Day, nor do updates happen on Sunday. Therefore, your theory is debunked.

I think he meant Sunday night/Monday morning, when the clock strikes midnight... 'cause thats always when I recieve the updates, as everyone else I presume =P. Honestly he was joking, why so serious?

I realise you weren't being serious but still..

Considering Veteran's Day is a holiday to at least partially honour the dead from WWII on the Allies' side, and Japan is the only major Axis power to not completely admit they were wrong, I'm guessing Nintendo would just steer clear of the issue all together ;)

i honestly never understood why in America the weekend starts on Sunday.. >.>
I lol'd when i saw this, but realistically in Japan people don't know what the heck veteran's day is. If however they do do that on say Monday after veteran's day, that would just be wonderful. :D
