Can't Think of a Good Game to Play

I'm doing this Let's Play series on YouTube. Yadda, yadda. It's really fun.

My dilemma is what game I'm going to play next. I'm normally a very decesive person but I guess since I've played such a massive amount of video games over my lifetime I'm at a total loss for what game I could choose.

What would you guys suggest? I've heard several ideas that I'm kinda' contemplating but I'm not sold on yet.

But basically they need to be like...
1.) A great game (obviously) and
2.) A fun game to watch

Like I considered RPG's to be great, but watching someone go through an RPG and going through random encounters, leveling up, etc. isn't that enjoyable. And I'm way too lazy to edit out those parts from my videos since it would mess up my audio sync too much.

So what are some great games that you guys would play yourselves AND watch? I know so many games that I wanna' play... but I have no clue if people would enjoy watching someone else play it... if that makes sense.

I forgot to mention my strategy for the LP's.

Basically, I kinda' wanna have like one 'new gen' game and a 'old school, retro' game going at the same time. I know a lot of people love to watch old school platformers so I have Yoshi's Island for that. I also know some people dislike it so that's why I did Shadow of the Colossus.

You should do the castlevania games, fire emblem path of radiance, megaman 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, yakuza 1 and 2, devil may cry 3, god of war 1 and 2, prince of persia sands of time (which is really cool with parkour stunts and find this game really hard) and warrior within, etc. Basically just play whatever game I find in my library of over 300 games.

Oh **** I forgot about Secret of Mana. One of my favorite games ever.

Definitely recommend that one.
I want to talk about Secret of Mana again >_>. It's a fun game, amazing soundtrack and looks good.

It's an action-y game, so you don't have the static screens that RPGs often have that make them dull to watch. Grinding is not necessary, you can get through the game without doing so. I know I've completed it a few times without having to spend any time grinding, although it might be tricky in a first run-through.

The only thing I'd be a little cautious about is the CPU allies. Their path finding capability is horrendous. It might ruin the game for you honestly, as you might find you need to go out of your way to make sure they don't get stuck a lot of the time. The game works better if you have 1 or 2 other friends to play with, but I would still definitely give the game a go playing it solo.

So, yeah.

Go play it.

If you pick Starfox Adventures I will unsubscribe asap :|. That was a horrible game man.

It was a good solid game. It just wasn't a starfox game. The ending was rushed and the short flight sequences were terrible. But the actual adventuring aspect of the game was good, and it had a solid soundtrack.

It's terribly underrated because Starfox fans bawed because it wasn't a starfox game, and non starfox fans didn't try it because it looked like a starfox game.

-Clock Tower on the SNES. (It has multiple endings the game is not long either, just in case you want to do a quick one.

I used to play it in Discovery Zone when I was younger. Then finally beat it at my grandma's hosue. (She had Guilty Gear, RE1 Directors Cut, Namco Museum, and some other nice games. xD)

Haha, thanks. I could expand on it based on everything I played as a child. But I remember at random times. xD

Thanks guys.

I'm holding on to all of your ideas. I think I've chosen the next one I want to feature on my Let's Play so I'll just let that be a surprise.

I'll post another blog in the future once I start the new LP to give you guys a heads up.

I'll probably post a blog once every week with updates to the LP, too. Should be fun.
