I still do CoD4 a bit more, but the M16s are really getting me to the point where I might go back.

Shoot them.
Play with brightness all the way down so the only thing you can really see are the zombies' eyes glowing at you.
Play while intoxicated in some way.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.
First of all, that's terrible. You should get to ~25 by yourself.
PPSH isn't that good. Runs out of ammo too quickly.

I've gotten to 31 on Splitscreen with my Stepbroher.
PPSH upgraded loses ammo very quickly, in later levels, you can't count on getting a Max Ammo every level.

Well that being the case, I also love the Browning when paired up with the MG and Speed Cola.
I get a ****load of ammo from those 2 weapons

The best thing about waw is the bolt actions. They seem to be underestimated. I just use the Mosin Nagant with irons, and will go like 30-13 in a TDM.

MP40 is better.
And man, never try to hack a Nazi Zombies lobby. Some squeaker did one and he gave me the ability to shoot fast as hell with double tap. I swear, I got so much recoil with the ray gun I was actually sent out of the map and I lost connection with the hacker due to that :/
But it was ****ing fun though
And I need a Nazi Zombies partner

PPsh is real fun to screw around with double tap. It is pretty good for killing, and people will respect you more if you use it instead of the MP40.

A gun that kills in two bullets allowing for any second tier perk you want? A gun with manageable recoil and a LOT of bullets. A gun that gives you max mobility? A gun you don't even need to AIM with to use properly?

No, the UMP actually has multiple flaws. It's a very good gun, probably the most versatile, but its more like a jack of all trades. It can be beat at close range, long range, mid range, etc. However, it's capable of handling it all.
The MP40 can do everything except snipe.

So last night I was playing SnD on Downfall. It was a 1v6 situation. I manage to shoot 4 guys with my FG42 and pop 1 more with my pistol. I grab the bomb and begin to plant with like 18 seconds left. Then there's a massive lagfest and the next thing I see is the pre-game lobby.
I was ****ing pissed.

You're 100% correct. The MP40 can do everything but snipe, and the UMP is good in all areas but can be easily beaten in all areas as well.

The UMP is still really annoying though. It's just so good it feels dumb dying to it. But it's definitely beatable.

Yeah, I think shotguns need to stay primaries but they need to be as overpowered as they are in MW2 to be any good for the most part. In cod4 and waw there's just no point if you ask me.
The UMP is good in all situations, but I can still give you a handful of scenarios in which it would lose. I don't see it that much in games personally, so I can't complain. I'd rather use the Tar/scar anyways....

If shotguns were primaries and remained as they were in MW2, they would actually be balanced, not overpowered, as by using a shotgun you're committing to its range. It's actually why I think shotgunning in CoD4/WaW took incredible skill, because you needed to be **** good with a pistol to take anything out at range.
I've seen games where everyone on the other team used the UMP.
I have never been more enraged in my life.

So I started playing this game again and I really don't think its that bad at all. My K/D is awful in this game since it was the first CoD game I ever played though lol.
