I mean ... he knew that Falcon was tied with Kirby for 21st ... what I meant was the only real thing that matters in determining wavedash speed is your wavedash distance (unless you're Bowser and have a 9 frame jump)

I guess I didn't really make that clear

Yah I wish I knew a legitimate measurement of all of his speeds. Like a meters per second comparison of his horizontal speed compared to his run speed would be amazing. So since his run speed is faster than his wavedash, does that mean it's faster to land and run than it is to waveland and run? For example, if I was on the top platform of dreamland, and I wanted to grab someone who was standing right by the ledge, would the fastest way to do that be to run off, fastfall through the platform, land, and run to him? Or is it faster to wavedash off, fall through, waveland towards him, and then run and grab?

Gucci is gonna upset some more top players today in bracket. Already beat Westballz in pools and also 3-1'd Kels in a MM. Calling it now, he's gonna get top 24.

gucci is really solid. i love his falcon. i didn't expect a foreign falcon to be this good. he knows how to play all the matchups correctly and is kept up with the latest falcon stuff...

he also connects guaranteed things very consistently, more consistent than even some of the top american falcons...

it's just so surprising to see such a solid falcon from japan where the only previous example we've had was machdash......=/ and fuzzyness from europe copped out for fox. jeapie is pretty fancy and smooth too.. unfortunate he's not at apex.

hax played the best of all the falcons at apex for sure...
it looks like he knows the secret to beating pikachu that s2j is missing out on.

but hax keeps m2k jumping (aka tournament winner) in his sets on stream...it costed him a few times and you could see his head shaking when it happened. but maybe some of the jumps were on purpose?

Definitely hyped for genesis 3 though. going to try to make it to that!!

hope i made the falcon boards proud this weekend. played harder than i ever have at a tournament. i don't think i would've lost to anyone outside of the top 5 the way i played at Apex.

if it weren't for massive mental blocks vs the top 5 (at this tourney, Mango/PP) i know i can beat them too. i literally sit down vs those guys and tell myself i'm not gonna win. it's something i need to work on

no regrets though. i accomplished everything i went there to do

You did amazing dude. I called it before your set vs Axe... I told the person next to me, Hax is sick of losing to this damn rat, he's taking this.

Good **** Hax. You were a blast to watch and the hero of crews. Wish I got to MM, I was trying to hit up all the big falcons. I got S2J and was going to get Scar, but then hype top 8 is hype. What were your thoughts on Gucci?
