The fact that over half of his votes have been obvious sheeps. He only ever explained any of them long after the fact. Didn't sit well with me, and still doesn't. I think him making it seem like blatant sheeping is ok is a bad thing. It means he can jump on any wagon that's forming, and not have to explain it until later.

I don't think I've been ambiguous in the slightest about exactly why I think your sheeping is scummy. Doing it on a regular basis, as you've done throughout this game, makes it very easy for you to join in on any wagon forming and possibly contribute to the mislynch of a townie. Since you only ever explain it after the fact, you can just come up with whatever reason you can think of and use it as justification for the mislynch.

Being able to join in on any lynch that is convenient, and justifying it later, is at least a little scummy. I don't think that's really disputable.

@Kantrip: Not yet. I want to know his reasoning behind that chatterbox issue before reaching to any conclusions about his alignment. He certainly looked like he was doing standard RVS without that flip, but the reasoning is questionable, so it's important to get basis for his claim.

I think you should drop any thoughts you have of prod dodging like that being town. What is it doing? It's avoiding accumulating prods so as not to get mod-votes or replaced/modkilled for activity. As Joker said, it is usually a dead null. However, Red Ryu likes to coast as scum, so what I take from it is that he has to be watched closely and not allowed to go on like that. It should in no way be a town lean.

Bolded is grossly innaccurate but coupled with the hasty claim and confusion I still maintain that tako is town. I would like him to breadcrumb his partner in some way that they can confirm in the future so that he is forced to commit to it now, just in case, though. Encryption doesn't work, but the rule specifically states that it's not meant to disallow breadcrumbing within the visible text.

With how Red Ruy tried to get everyone off the case while still avoiding providing content has me really looking at him funny. I could see RR being behind this with a tako/RR scumteam, though I'm leaning tako town moreso. Either way, I want the breadcrumb to happen.

At this point? I'd shoot Vinyl and vote Ryu. Ryu has been doing pretty much what I was doing before: little posting with possible lurking. When suspicious, this alone isn't enough to decrete him as scum (and that's why I wouldn't shoot him). Vinyl, in the other hand, has shown erratic behavior about other players, which, again combined with low activity, is more scum-leaning.
Toaster gets free of this situation mainly because the other two guys look more important imo.

And I'm not postulating RR as scum: if I was, given the nature of the situation I was put in the question, wouldn't I have shot him instead of just vote him? I personally think Bardull should save the shot for a more clear target than a "die roll between inactives". If he's gambiting this just means he can keep up the facade and maintain thread control longer, and if it's legit it means town gets to kill someone we actually think is scum. A win-win for saving it, and why do people care if we confirm it or not? If it goes unconfirmed he won't be a NK target since scum won't know if it's legit or not, and if he's lying we're not derailing the lynch anyways.

I understand the irl johns so I won't be too hard on RR, but he did lurk up until the Day's wagon was decided and then tried to derail it. If 194 is scum then it really makes RR look like a scumbuddy trying to save a partner with an important PR/possibly his only scummate. I trust doc/watcher can make their own judgement call and WIFOM between valuable slots at their discretion.

Investigatives can hit any slots that they feel will be around a while. That means don't go for likely NK targets, and otherwise it'll probably be fine. I think it's cute that Red Ryu thinks he can establish the undebatable cop targets after the HUGE PRESENCE he's established in this game.

Pretty sure Red Ryu getting (presumably) abducted and the lack of a NK make RRscum a highly likely thing. However, there are at least two other possibilities, so it's not completely set in stone. Either way, we now need to find and lynch the abductor before we can deal with Ryuscum.

I honestly think this entire game is a wrap. I'm thinking the abductor is in Jdietz/Orbo. Maybe Vinyl if he has a BP of some calibre which would explain why he claimed doc (though I don't know if he'd think to go for town points like that so I doubt indyVinyl), then assuming Red Ryu comes back into the game we kill him and that should be it.

Within tiers are very loosely ordered, I would not call him my strongest town read. Probably tied with the other two in that tier.

I had him as leaning town just based on the line of reasoning I was seeing from him. I could see the gears working, and I liked that. That continued coming into toDay, where I asked him about Vinyl's doc claim. When he demonstrated that he realized it was probably a fake claim, I liked that. Not because he discerned that, but because he shared that he discerned that. I feel like if he were scum and came to that realization (which would have then dictated how he used his kill), he would feel inclined not to go announcing that he realizes it's fake. Hope that makes sense.

@Bardull: Sorry man, I'm just wary of you. I say let Jdietz do his catch-up stuff and focus elsewhere as he shares what he finds. We won't gain anything else out of continuing to pressure him, I think it's pretty established that he's not well-received in the game at the moment.

He practically ignored the 194 wagon, comes into this Day with vibes and suspicions on players, saying that he doesn't think they're connected to 194, but rather thinks they're indies. This is a scum-slip, as he clearly wasn't looking for connections, looking for scum, or probably even reading the game. Then he tries to cover it all up with "I haven't even read, disregard this and let me be real now". Throw AtE and useless comments on top of that, and you have someone I would feel confident in letting Bardull shoot. It's a shame the gun was but a lie.

However, this puts Rake back in my sights. It's possible he came in with gusto and led town D1 to look really pro-town and ride it out, and then absorbed a shot in the Night and is now going to stop being super pro-town now that his protection is gone. This is just wild speculation and him not being here is more likely just happenstance, but thanks for reminding me of that regardless.

Frankly, choosing Red Ryu was really stupid on the abductor's part. It makes ABSOLUTELY no sense. Red Ryu was a high lynch target, someone an indy, who doesn't want to get lynched, would want to keep around. It just makes no sense.

I'm not sure where you're getting your trust of Riddle from (ie you put him mad green), and I'm not sure why you trust me so much. So far, I've seen 3 people (Rake offered the possibility, Dietz thinks I'm scum, and Riddle is worried about me too) speculate me as scum or anti-town from my play so far.

Ok WRT JD first I have to explain some background.

JD, Joker, Toast and I just played in Newbie Cave Story together, where I was scum and they were all town. Day 1 I make a play in which I ask who was the strongest player, then immidiately cast my vote on them. I explain by doing this I both get a read on the strongest player and react to any votes against them. I also explain that any votes against me that didn't invovle strong logic was null.

To sum it up I made a weak trap that I fully explain later to earn the trust of town.

Now I consider JD's play in this game.

This post in particular won me over.



He suspects that I was doing the same thing day 1 with my chatterbox play. I would go so far to say that he suspects that the entire play was to earn town favor, he wants people to distrust me. If you look at just the results of day 1 I can say that indeed I did gain enough town favor to keep me from lynched for awhile (to which I owe Joker, well played bro), while scummy enough to make both mason unfavorable to NK.

If he was scum, he wouldn't have kept pushing my lynch when the majority had written off my play as dumbtown and wanted to move on. I think he is actually afraid that I might be pulling one over on him again, proof of that can be seen that he still doesn't believe me in day 2. He goes to great lengths to paint me as scum to the point where people find the information not helpful, which I find more town than scum.

Regarding his day 2 play, going against Bardul would be quite risky as scum, calling for lynch for no shot on the strongest day 1 town would be too risky considering 194 had died day 1. I don't trust Bardul either since he was the leader of day 1, but indeed JD did push too hard and he had to retreat. But he did get Bardul to confirm that he is not a Vig, which is somewhat notable imo. Day 2 I can understand him seeming scummy, but I see it more as paranoia against Bardul.




BUT THIS IS WHERE THE BAD NEWS STARTS JD

After considering what happened with RR abduct last night, I've been trying to consider who and why someone would abduct RR. It was apparent by the end of day 1 RR was our first batter's to lynch day 2, my initial thought was that the Indy may be super confident he can win on his own.

But now that I think about it, from my perspective the best abduct would have been either Joker or myself, more-so Joker. With my play in Day 1 I considered us impervious to NK since our flip would confirm the other's alignment, with the exception of a double NK on both of us which was unlikely. But an abduct would totally ruin this strat as if Joker was abducted, I would have no case to say I was town. He could potentially eliminate both mason's with one play.

If you consider that the chances of Joker and I being doced weren't great with Bardul around, who would want to abduct RR over Joker?

If JD still suspects that I'm scum during twilight then he can't afford to abduct Joker, because unlike Bardul he doesn't have a strong town position and he can't afford to have me lynched if I'm scum and he's Indy all by himself.

All things considered I still think JD isn't scum, but I suspect he might be Indy. The same indy logic appliies to Rake as well, but he has a littlle bit better town position though imo.

Now that I'm reading this to myself I feel really scummy but I suspect those who have a weak position in town who still believe me as scum more than RR as Indy, based off of RR abduct.
