No. Indy hunting is just as useful as scumhunting, and just as achievable. Creating indie paranoia, on the other hand, is scummy.

I'm torn in the dumb or scum with John, but I believe he is both. His pushes have been too opportunistic.

My cautions about you come from my many experiences getting burned by Kuz when I get mystified by his obvtown play and then he ends up as scum. I think it is a fair comparison between you and him and that's why I have paranoia, but as I say that I do have a town read on you that is reinforced by every freaking post you've made. So I don't think you are scum, but I'm way too cautious to send you to the brownie townie list with Asdioh and Kantrip yet.

I'm not sold on the Sokr thing, I agree that indy hunting can be useful but I'm shocked that as a newbie he would be looking for indies and call someone out as a possible indy instead of just general scumhunting. And iirc he called out Swords as being suspicious as possible indy but didn't want to pursue it at the time he brought it up, and didn't act on it until a wagon on Swords formed. And I know that he listed RR as a suspect but I don't remember if he even went anywhere with it. Uggh I apparently really need to reread, but as i remember it Sokr isn't obvtown by any means and he's one of the people I want to look into toDay.

I can also guarantee that, providing myself, Adum and yourself are all town, we will be right more often on our scumpicks than you will.

But don't forget this:

If two of myself, Adum and Swords want the third lynched, lynch that third player on the provision the other two are scrutinised and one randomly lynched if the target flips town.

And Sword flipped town.
