cant find the pokepark mdl0s file by myself ;_;

wait an minute, if the character mld0s work, what happend with stage mld0?
does it work to? :3

EDIT: if maybe meowth has more bones in pokepark, it will maybe work on brawl :D

What's with everyone asking for **** downloads about things that aren't even made, or those who keep asking RandomTBush if he has done something? This is the WORKSHOP thread, where you show what YOU have DONE, not ask annoying questions. I've been looking at the recent pages and I only see nothing but crap. Just show what you have done, and stop asking so many questions like a kid who didn't have enough sugar.

It doesn't crash to me O.o

Anyway, I don't think it would have been really useful ^^U

@pikazz: Pokepark models are in the res0X.dan files. I don't know if there's any easy way to extract them, but you can use hex editors to manually do so.

Hi, first of all, I'm new here and I've been browsing the forums for quite a while now, decided to register.

As far as model importing goes, do the models really need to be MDL0? Because MDL0 says about nothing, DS games use that as well.

Anyway, I decided to rip my copy of Pokemon Battle Revolution for Wii and I came across the models for all 493 pokemon.
However, I have no clue on the file format used.
The data is compressed with LZSS, and eventually into a custom file format called fsys.
I managed to decrypt all of the data and I'm left with these 4 files.
If anyone can shed some light on the format used I'd be happy to hear, I hope it's not custom :/

Haha, glad I could brighten your day up... Umm, I wasn't sure which file he was.... since I couldn't recognise any of his textures.. I'll search for the japanese name and then post it up one I get it.

You should probably take the download link down, at least until we get word back from Bionic Sonic. About a page ago...

By the way guys... this post is not directed at anyone, I just want to point out a few things before everyone gets excited.

I'm fine with whatever you guys do as long as you do not post any links to ISOs or torrents.

I've had to punish 2 people within the past few days for breaking the copyright rule, so as long as you know this, do not put links to illegal ISOs/torrents on SWF. Makes me look bad, makes the Workshop look bad, and I really don't want the Workshop shut down and everything worked on to come to a screeeeeeching halt because a few people post some illegal stuff.

As for the models from the other games, I'm gonna talk to JV to see if we can allow extracted models or not. The thing with the Brawl files you can edit is that, well, you own the game and bought it so you're free to do whatever you want with it and trusting you guys with it (or at least I hope that's illinialex's intent).

But with raw files extracted from ISO's from other games, that's sort of a legal gray area, and I don't want MLG to get sued by Nintendo because we were distributing Nintendo-copyrighted files directly extracted off of an ISO. I mean, I'm all for playable Pokémon in Brawl and hope it comes to fruition, but I honestly don't want the side-effect of losing the Workshop over it.

For right now... carry on with what you were doing, can't wait for a playable Shaymin. But let me check to see if this is OK.

If you want those, you're going to have to find them either on your own or get someone else to get them for you... I only got Dusknoir as well because it was ORIGINALLY requested, I just couldn't find it until just now....

These are reeeally nice models! Perhaps soon we'll be able to insert them into the game without them crashing!


#Also, I would appreciate it if some people were working on a way to get 2D stages with multiple background layers working - I tried but all I got were beeps...

I looked at the Bulbasaur file that was uploaded earlier, and it does not look like it's an MDL0 file. So, in other words, they can't be used in their current state. Sorry. =/

...on the positive side, I managed to make stationary models (Roll's broom, Viewtiful Joe's Shocking Pink bomb, etc.) decompile in AiS 0.1.1, but it won't work in AiS 0.1.3 (which adds materials support), so I think that the material properties need to be changed, too, if you want them to work in Brawl.

More on that later, after I find out how to get rigged models to go through AiS.

Now that I finally got stage edits working to some extent, I've been working on something for Skyworld (you fight in front of the building in the background), and I got pretty much all of the collisions working, except a few problems; first and foremost, I can't seem to get rid of the platforms and clouds. I tried shrinking and moving them, neither worked. Which sucks, because the stage itself works pretty good.

It still needs some spawn points and fixed boundaries, but that's not the point.

Some assistance here would be highly appreciated.

It's not the same thing, let me explain in terms you would understand since Bionic didn't exactly make it clear.

You and I and everyone else owns Brawl, bought it with our own money. Everything on the disc, once purchased, is free to use. In this case, that includes .pacs, the models, and so forth. However, in the case of PokePark Wii it's not released in America yet and the only two ways to get it are through importing (which costs a lot of money and NOBODY would spend $60 to import such a game, let alone just for the models) and through illegal methods I will not discuss (you already know). Thus, since you didn't obviously import the game, you didn't purchase it and thus, do not own the files within the disc and thus should not distribute them on these forums because it's illegal to do that without for sure proof that you own the game and bought it with your own money.

MLG doesn't want to get sued for distribution of files nobody bought legally essentially. So do yourself a favor (and all of us)and just advertise you have the models and to contact you through other means (i.e not on Smashboards) to receive the files. So that the workshop does not get closed. It is a HUGE privilege to have these forums in the first place.

Also, I'm going to once again repeat what Guy said in huge font.

PLEASE STOP QUOTING PICTURES! IT MAKES THE PAGES LOAD LONGER THAN THEY NEED TO AND STRETCHES THEM! DELETE THE IMAGE LINKS WHEN YOU ARE QUOTING SOMEONE WHO POSTED AN IMAGE!

^ Unfortunately, no Mewtwo in PokéPark. Doesn't mean that someone can't use the PBR model though.

Anyway, I came across a bone count problem. Shaymin Sky's bone count is 29. Since the lowest bone count in a char. is Red/Yellow/Green Alloy's 34, it freezes when I replace an Alloy's model with Shaymin's. X.x

I think we have to add the "TopN" "HaveN" "Xrot" "Yrot" "TransN" and "ThrowN" bones D:
all the models in brawl has those but they that are not in brawl hasn't D:
and we cant add bone but I hope we can it in the future
You think we could replace meowths pokeball model model with that one :o
I thought so x3
that meowth models is better than brawl meowth model
