Indeed, hopefully with this, the scene can grow.

The competition will probably be equivalent to Basic Brawl on Wi-Fi.

Still, I think it'll be a bunch of fun though. :) Sydney has sweet days ^_^

It had better be 1 on 1 or I won't be held responsible for My Actions.

So, are We going to Rock Up and hijack This Party in the Name of Competitive Play?

Assuming it's Basic Brawl format, then it'll be a FFA.

Assuming previous DS tours, you use the DS they have provided and hooked up. If that's the case, we will be using either a Wii Remote, Wii Remote + Nunchuk, or Classic Controller.

The format doesn't really bug me, but blahhhhhhhh I wanna use my own controller. :(

--

I hope they will have the full version out too, because the game would have been out for several days.

There's no reason why they couldn't have GC controllers hooked up too.

Glad WA's not first so we can see what you guys have to deal with and then compensate for it. :)

Bah, These Connection Tours are Fun but They lack a Soul. I'm tired of hearing Commentary from some less-than-Interested Part-Timer.

I Say We Run in There and Change EVERYTHING TO SUIT OUR NEEDS. COMMENTARY BY FORK (TO REPLACE THE LACK OF FORK FROM SCAB VIDS) AND 1 ON 1 4 STOCK MATCHES.

Yay yay yaaay

Fork Commentaries <3.
Will they be on par with Markarse's?

I'm more excited bout Revo than Wii Fit tours.
Unless they sporn moar Ozzie Nintys liek at the Poke Tours.

Cobalt, you live near Narre Warren yea?

The closest to you would be at Fountain Gate Shopping Center.

Yeah I live near Narre Warren. Thanks for the info. Why do the events take two days long? They're FFAs (I think)so shouldn't it finish quicker or something.
The competition on Day 1 will have nothing to do with the competition on Day 2, so you can enter both days. :) The same applies for Day 3 and Day 4

The 10th and 11th are tuesday and wednesday respectively. I'm sure Nintendo took into consideration that people have school or Uni or work on those days. What time does the event start?

It should still be the school holidays for most schools during those days.

It'll start in the morning (not sure when though). But people show up earlier to sign up so they don't miss out. I'll assume it'll be the same for this, with the amount of places limited.

liek the pokemannnz wii tour!

Togekiss vs Heracross I was sure to beat that ******* in our battlesies!
Then it became snorefest with Blissey vs Swampert.
**** everyone after that was like WTF that battle was maaaad.

If not go there for the wins, go to the brawl tour-ney for the memories and the PEOPLES!

Holidays? Since when did holidays begin 2 weeks earlier than usual? Is the Queen's birthday like 3 days long?

Edit: Oops I'm such a failure. I thought it was June not July. My bad.

Will you at least show some mercy to the little ones? The poor little 7 year olds there with their mums and dads?

I beat a kid of about 7 or 8 at the last nintendo promotion i went to. I just felt bad.

still, i'm eager for more details on the tour though! Especially what time it starts, but will probably show up at the same time as the Pokemon tour last year if there's no details soon.

I'd probably feel bad too, if I actually beat the 9 year old girl. Stupidly bad luck of Freezing, chain paralysis and flinching meant I never got a freaking move off.

Brawl is NO MERCYYYYY

YOU SEE!?!? IF WE ARE TO BE VICTORIOUS IN A MERCILESS GAME, WE MUST ALSO BE MERCILESS.

THE TEARS OF CHILDREN ARE REALLY WEAKNESSES LEAVING THEIR MORTAL BODY. THEY'LL BE FINE.

SMASH BOARDS, ADVANCE!!!!!!

I shall be attending the Sydney ones...are there prizes?
They haven't mentioned it yet but there should be, every tour has had one.

The prizes will most likely be in the form of goodies and what not. I think first prize is the only one that usually varies. Last year's prize for the Pokemon tour was a Black DS Lite with a nice inscription on it + a bunch of goodies.

The Top 8 got a bunch of goodies and what not.

--

If there's any update on the tour I'll bring it up in this thread - not much info has been given this time overall.

But regardless of prizes and what not, it's actually really fun, and the atmosphere is great. =)

Last one I went to was brain training...

I guess its not really fair to beat up on 8 year olds at that.

I heard one kids mum consoling him saying "it's ok he's a lot older than you." I could feel her death stares...

Beat them long and hard. Sweat will turn to hard effort and rythmic button mashing to beat that kid who believes everything comes easy.

He has to grow a **** first.
