Mortal Kombat wouldn't do well with Meta-Knight, but Meta-Knight would do well in Mortal Kombat.
Why wasn't Waddle Dee in Brawl? Because they only had time to add crawling, not waddling.
Why wasn't King K. Rool in? Because he'd always have the crown.
Why doesn't FLUDD do damage?
Because it already outprioritizes GH levitation. Which means the developers cleary saw that FLUDD > Golden Hammer
Where do the bob-ombs come out of during sudden deaths? A bomb shelter
Why wasn't the red shell in brawl? It went home.
How come you can only throw Electrodes when they're about to explode?
Because they will only leave with a bang.
