I'm sorry, to not know, but it just doesn't make sense. Pokeballs are items, but the PT uses them. The fire flower is there, and Mario has fireballs. While I don't think Lip's chances are high at all, it's not a basis to deconfirm her. >_>

Exactly.

Saying that Lip has been deconfirmed is pretty much ridiculous.

R.I.P Lynn's place in Brawl =( I almost punched the computer when i found out she was only an assist trophy.. but then i realized, that it wasn't completly bad.. at least she was mentioned in the game

NO WAY! She always had at least three times the chance Lyn did being popular in Japan, being more unique, being from a more popular game (in japan anyway) and being more recent.

I cringed when I saw the update with Lyn. Only because I knew there would be a huge faction of smashers here that would be wailing in misery upon seeing her deconfirmation. Given, I like what they've done with her AT, but it's still a little sad that she won't be playable.

"Most likely" being the key word there. For all we know, Dr. Mario and Pichu are returning with all-new movesets. So we can't put them in the graveyard yet.

As a side note...new movesets for Doc and Pichu? Would Pichu's involve NOT being emo and hurting itself? That'd be GREAT.

Doc needs a liquid nerve and blister agent that he can use for his side B attack. Maybe some flesh eating bacteria for his down B...

I don't think Lip will get in, but i don't think that you can deconfirm her because her main weapon got in. After all, the Screw Attack is present as an item in Melee, for example.

He has an item that has appeared without a symbol on it other than the Smash symbol

Yeah, we can't really count them out...there's not even circumstantial evidence, like Lip's Stick.

Agreed. If he's AT'd, well I've said it so many times... I would be pissed off. That would be wasted potential.

It does not say deconfirmed. It's just close since her weapon is made a item again. I don't know how else can she attack without the Lip's Stick (since that what she uses in her game to attack her enemies and summon those garbage blocks), unless she is made a magic character, but that would be out-of-character....

Then again, anything could happen. Only time will tell.

How exactly would making her a magic character be out of character for her? She's a FAIRY for crying out loud. She attacks her enemies with falling blocks of garbage. She never went up and hit anyone in the whole game.

I imagine that if they make her, she's going to need a very specific moveset, one that will probably only use the Lip Stick for her specials. I mean...Ness's weapon is a bat and yet the only attack that uses it is his forward smash.

Tom Nook and KK Slider really should be taken down because they are far from deconfirmed. Mainly Tom Nook, considering he can just be removed from the background, it's not that hard.
