Tip: Copy where you want it to loop to, paste at end of song, adjust the ending point with the starting point.

Result? Perfect loop, no matter what song you're using.

You take a chunk of the song starting at where you want the starting point of the loop to be.

Copy it.

Attach the copy directly to where you want the ending point to be.

Check the starting point.

Bump up to the closest 14336 multiple.

Add that same bump to the ending point.

Result? Perfect loop.

that means: not just selecting "loop" option on most easy-to-use programs. If you want it well-made, you must work for it.



Anyways, I'll try upload something it later, I have a lot of cool Pump it Up music I'd like to try out. =)

This is a blind test. Please test each set and see if you can find any difference in quality. Either set may be Lossless or Lossy.

Don't be fooled by the file size; BRSTM is a lossy format so they would be identical. This is a test to see if BRSTM conversion adds to the lossy-ness of an already lossy source. This is also to determine if gathering lossless formats for Brawl would be a waste of time, effort, and space (lossless takes quite a bit of hdd space...).

The (=NeutraL=/nazz-can) is an update of the previous version on the first post. Feel free to download either A or B. It's been heavily edited to be less annoying, have smarter loops, and transition smoother.

They sound pretty much the same coming out of my mono computer speaker (Original). Haven't tested in-game yet. As for the headphones, they also sound alike, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say B sounded only very slightly better?

All the songs were made from lossless sources. (if that matters......)

Catastrophe in Bhava-agra, Tomorrow will be Special; Yesterday was not, Mystic Oriental Love Consultation (HnK Style), and Did you see that shadow? are re-done versions. Polished loops and clipped unnecessary parts. The rest are new.

If you haven't replaced your Menu music (Menu 1, Menu 2, Melee Menu, Main Brawl Theme), I would highly recommend the above... most notably Awakening of the Earth Spirits, Did you see that shadow?, Oriental Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, and Mystical Oriental Love Consultation (HnK Style).

Just to clear up any confusion. The version of that song I converted is actually from Final Fantasy V. The one masamunecyrus converted is from Final Fantasy XII, and should probably have the name fixed in one way or another. Just so it doesn't look like we both converted the exact same song.

This should be just "Jazz Jackrabbit 2". The Secret Files is a European-only expansion pack which includes the one song I converted -- "Jazz Belmont". "Fast Track" is in the original game as well as the expansion.

...oh, and the link to the old topic has an extra "://" in it, therefore making it broken.
