As long as soneek is very very careful. That is, he accepts only smooth looping BRSTMs.
Something like "There's a pop, but you won't hear it" wouldn't be acceptable. If there's even a slight pop, it should be at least questioned with the other mods. Also, I assumed Yui was also an admin... but then, is he even a member?

Also is it that hard to kill a process? Shows how much I know....
Of course moose being who he is, he can probably kill it in a flash...
I thought it'd be a case of maybe typing in some certain thing like "kill process" <_< or maybe:
"cancel". Or maybe simply pressing a button? Heck personally, there should be a special "Cancel" button on the ytqueue.php page, that ONLY administrators (i.e. moosehunter and myself) can see. Much like how only admins can even see the buttons to add things to the queue anyway.

Yeah, I'm definitely up for it! Thanks everyone! And yes I'll check for pops at the loop points, and other stuff. I'll get started in a bit.

Okidoki, Soneek. Be sure to check any BRSTMs twice before approving them, so you can be sure there won't be any pop :)

Firstly what do you mean by "account name of the YouTube upload services"?

Secondly, also soneek, be careful of duplicates.

If you mean the Youtube channel's name, it's BrawlBRSTMs.

If that's not it, then I have no clue.

I can see how approving/rejecting can get tiresome. @_@ The "Rejected!" makes it a little fun though. XD

I have the streams for Eternal Sonata now. For some reason the creators of Eternal Sonata, Baten Kaitos, and Baten Kaitos Origins have the same starting loop point for EVERY looping song in each game...

And if you needed the password, I'm sure Seg can agree that it is quite cheesy.
Yea lol
It's really cheesy XD

For some reason, I can hear someone in Phoenix Wright screaming that lulz

Haha YES.

Is it just me, or do the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon pending songs sound REALLY hissy? Like someone recorded the sound coming out of an amp or something.

Maybe it's an alien wizard. 0_0

Almost done approving/rejecting. I can finally see the whole pending page without scrolling. XD

EDIT: Still trying to figure out where this song is from.

I'm updating my BRSTMs to use in my Brawl and right now, I've just replaced my "earrape + (normal x reversed mashup)" version of Lazy Town's "You Are a Pirate" by a metal arrangment of the song done by Alestorm. :awesome:

Now I'm going to approve the rest of the few pending songs on BCM. Nice work, Soneek !

Aw jeez... libertyernie... put the actual names for god's sake. Not just "bgm_01" etc.

Also, any luck with the killing? It's pretty obvious that it's basically got as far as "Creating Video" and that's where it's crashed. It decoded the BRSTM and encoded the MP3 alright.

This is what a completed task should look like:

Creating a new YouTube object for song 3859 and user brawlbrstms.
This song will loop 108 times with a 9 second delay and a 10 second fadeout.
This video's expected length is 1800 seconds.

As you can all see... it finishes encoding the MP3, and then that's when it crashes, as I said.

Of course, the basic error is this:
Undefined offset: -1 in /var/www/classes/class.youtube.php on line 904

Okay, so the regular expression was \\(|\\), right? Just use that regular expression on the following:

http://myregextester.com/index.php

Just add it to Match pattern.

Then, set the oparation to split.

Then, add as text something, just experiment with short things, or rather, test with the following:

test
\test
c:\test
c:\test\file\
c:\test\file\1.brstm

Now for the last one, the output would be:

Code:
Execution Time(sec.):
0.000012

Raw Match Pattern:
\\(|\\)

$matches Array:
(
    [0] => c:
    [1] => test
    [2] => file
    [3] => 1.brstm
)
You can see that the length of the array is 4, and that the second index is "file".

Now, what would cause this error? Well, let's assume that the string it receives is empty, meaning something went wrong with the processing.

What the script does, as far as I can tell, is it executes an executable called "tail". This executable will return a string of text after completing its task, and I assume this string is supposed to be the output directory and file. However, I don't know if this executable can error handle, so it might be that it returns an empty string or a string with an error message (for example, "Error, can't process file!"). In that case, there are no backslashes visible here, so when preg_split is called, it puts its result in an array with length 1, since the entire string is placed in that record.

Now, when it tries to read the second last record, it stumbles upon the index -1, which is an invalid index, seeing as the first index in the array is 0. This is what will cause the script to fall into an endless loop, because it can't error handle correctly.

Seriously, stop dodging my explanations back with "but I'm not a scripter". I'm just trying to educate you here.

Are you talking to me? How many times, I don't have anything to DO with the site's internal gears and cogs! ALL I'm able to do is upload the videos, and approve or reject BRSTMs from the site. I have NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the actual codes and scripts!

Jesus, TUK is very dramatic.
Don't overdo it TUK, keep it cool. :)

Anyway.
Ideas to keep activity on the fb page? It's been alone for a couple weeks....

Did you notice that currently all of the requests are Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary BRSTMs? I found that rather funny.

@soneek

I might be able to help there.

Speaking of "names", did you notice that all of the BRSTMs pending approval were all done by the same person? Ironic, huh? Has there ever been a record of such a case? If so, do you know of it, or someone who might know of it?

I had 200+ songs of my own in the pending songs list at one point. It was after the site had went down around then.

What's so ironic about having a bunch of pending BRSTMs by one person? :\

It really confuses me, how people seem to use this word in the most ridiculously incorrect ways.

Sometimes it's literally confused with "coincidence" or sometimes "expected".

For example, I've seen people use it like this:
"I wanted a 3DS for my birthday. And I got one. Isn't it ironic"?

Oh and let's not go on about how that song called 'Ironic' is ironically ironic..... OK, I will.
Why is "Ironic" ironic? The irony comes from the fact that none of it is ironic.
It mentions a lot of so-called "ironic" situations, which are, ironically not ironic. I've explained why it's ironic but why is it ironically ironic? Because you don't expect the song to be ironic....
So, for those who want a mashed brain, the song is ironic for not being ironic. More specifically, the 'situations' are declared 'ironic'. However, the irony is that they aren't ironic. .... They're ironically not ironic... they're not ironic, which is ironic.....

IS your brain exploding yet?

Any more luck with that thingy, Yui? Like the password thing?

You know what's annoying?
Before he left, Moosehunter says that he's leaving soon, so if we have any questions to ask him 'now'...
But we didn't have any problems... then. What happens AFTER he's left? We get a problem that more or less ONLY he can fix....

In ordinary terms I'd say he is testing me, but then I think that setting up a problem that cannot be fixed if you don't know a password would be ridiculous unless he wants me to hack the bloody site.

But nah, I haven't had any luck and nothing so far is letting me in.

And modifying the php script won't do anything as it is already running...

Alright, I killed it.
It also killed the list of queued songs too.
perhaps we can continue but leave that song out till I figure out what was wrong?

...
Man, I'm so glad I can see this:

EDIT:
Testing another song (the one after the bad one) and it is now going smoothly.

Glad you were able to figure it out Ijah. And it looks like the current song is working fine in the conversion process. I'll gather up everyone's logos since last week and zip them together or something.
