to be honest, I thought it was cool to have him become part hollow with Urahara's help.
I wasn't even mad at that whole super arrancar thing he did against Ulquiorra.

I was disappointed since it was a random power up to tie into a movie.
Plus I thought it was a lame way to just kill off Ulquiorra like that.

I felt like with the way they built him up, he should've had a proper conclusion to that fight.

Ukitake's health is too much a risk for him to be a solid fighter for Head Captain.

Komamura? He does share the ideals of Yamamoto but I think he is too weak. Physical strength can't save speed and a abusable bankai.

It's obvious it was Grimmjow. For the attire it was an Arrancar, and the only one who would act like that would be him.

That said, this manga is going directions, but it doesn't look as solid as other arcs, this one simply started killing many people (even though we are still unsure of who died and who didn't), and then re-introducing characters and situations like crazy.
It's very unclear what's going on.
