The main guy BK has too compete with is Sigurd. and the fact that Sakurai likes Sigurd. like A LOT. >.<

I doubt Micaiah (HA I spleled it right) would compete with BK... she's a mage.... not a sword person... right? doesn't she get Alondite or something? or is that Ike???

You can give Alondite to anyone who has an SS in sword.

If there were only 3 FE slots then Micaiah certainly would compete with BK for that spot (uniqueness vs. villan status). Hope that doesn't have to happen though.

Id love to see him as a playable character, he's still on my roster. See when people say that he's slow, strong and cant jump high just like Ike, I dont see a problem with it, I think they can make him able to endure a lot of damage, to make up for his speed. And make him very powerful

A (Malicious Thrust) : BK uses a gut punch.

AV (Traitorous Trip) : BK sticks his big metal boot out to trip his foes.

A^ (Black Cyclone) : BK spins his sword horizontally in the air.

A> (Hilt of Despair) : BK rams his sword hilt into the foe's stomach.

Fsmash (Deathly Divide) : BK slashes his sword vertically and then does it again.

Dsmash (Pestilence Flux) : BK aims his open palm at the ground and a burst of evil energy explodes from it.

Usmash (Darkness Peak) : BK thrusts his sword straight into the air.

Dash A (Destructive Tackle) : BK does a shoulder tackle followed by a roll.

(I'm not doing aerials...)

B: Massacre Mash- A chargeable diagonal slash imbued with dark energy.

B^: War Rising- BK prepares for an upper slash and launches himself straight into the air.

BV: Evil Magic- BK summons a portal (Similar to the one he used after Caineghis scared him away.) and you move him to a nearby location on the map. Similar to Meta Knight's BV.

B>: Eclipse- Similar to Marth's B>, except slower but stronger.

FS: Four Horsemen's Slashes- BK's sword extends and looks like a giant tooth. He slashes four times, once horizontally, once vertically, once diagonally, then pauses, jumps up to the sky, says, "This... is... your fate," and lands with his sword jutting out from underneath him. He does this even if nobody is caught during the combo. Keep in mind that the fourth blow has essence rippling off of it, so the essence can still damage you.

But is Black Knight necessary? I mean, we don't even have an agile, light rep for the series yet in Marth, I think Ike pretty well covers heavy FE characters. I mean, there's better choices for FE reps, even besides Marth.

I would be slightly surprised by three reps for FE, but four reps would be totally unlikely. FE isn't big enough to get almost as many as Zelda.

I REALLY like Black Night as a character, but however you slice it he's still a heavy FE swordsman, like Ike, and is a bit too similar to how I imagine Ganondorf too. I expect that if he is in, he might be even less agile then Ike, but have pretty rapid attacks in comparison.

Precisely. In all intents and purposes, Roy was just Marth with some modifications.

So we'd basically get three new characters.

And, Ike, Micaiah, and Black Knight aren't exactly the best rep choices; and Radiant Dawn was actually going to come out less than a month before Brawl, in November. (Until it got delayed)

So either Micaiah, most likely her, or Black Knight will go bye-bye for Marth.

But perhaps BK could be an Assist Trophy if not a character.

Well.. I did hear rumor that in the JumpFesta, Ike was more Roy-like and not as slow as before, meaning they might have made Ike faster if this is true.

Well, he may be considered slow, but Roy speed is a major step up from Ike's previous condemnation. They called him slower than Bowser and Ganondorf, the likes of which has never been seen! I'd imagine Black Knight to be that slow.
