I seriously don't understand why you guys want to drag on this Day so much, do you think this "discussion" is actually in anyway beneficial? I could sit here stalling out until deadline watching ****ty weak cases be presented when the player writing them doesn't even beleive in them but I personally find it to be a waste of time. If Seik makes a Glyph case then fine, but I'm pretty confident it'll just be like all the others, really reaching and poor. If someone legit had a good reason to disagree with PL/Asdioh/X1/Glyph as town then I'm pretty sure they'd have it done by now.

My suggestion for tomorrow (assuming I'm not around), is outlined below. I STRONGLY suggest you follow it.

1.) WHATEVER ANYONE SUGGESTS, OR REGARDLESS OF WHAT ELSE HAPPENS, do not lynch Asdioh or PL.
2.) Ignore anything and everything that happens in the Night, because Bingo almost certainly will **** with it
3.) See if a legitimate (see below for what is legit) and not reaching case can be produced about Glyph (I'm pretty confident it won't), also see below section about what is scummy.
3A.) If it does and its actually good then make up your own minds between Seik/Glyph
3B.) If no to the good Glyph case, Lynch Seikend.


So X1, How do I tell whether certain actions are scummy or not?

Think: Would scum do this? How would their faction benefit (inc. it makes them look town).
Think: Would town do this? What does it benefit to their faction?
Think: Would town do this, even though it doesn't benefit their faction? This is the hardest one to think about, but many people fail on this and call dumb people scum, stuff like trolling, messing about, being an idiot and not putting in much effort ISN'T NECESSARILY SCUMMY. Nor is being wrong, nor is doing something you disagree with (lookin at you PL). Its also very much worth mentioning that if someone does something you can't understand, that's not scummy either, even if you can't understand their thought process, then that doesn't make them scum either, just look at whether you think they have genuine pro-town intentions or not.
Never assume: That because one person has failed to give off town tells then they are scum and vice versa. Player's are null till proven otherwise and I'm pretty confident with the exception of a few things he's done, that seems to be why everyone finds Seik town.
Weigh up: The entire actions of players that game. If one player has done one tiny scummy thing, that doesn't make them scum on its own, if their whole game they've also been exhibiting town tells.
Don't: Count Seikend self voting as a town tell. Seriously don't he could easily have been told about it by J (who did it to almost win in Inception). I know its basically gonna be impossible to convince you of this and I'm sure someone will ask me why I didn't make a bigger deal out of this earlier, but whatever, the first part of this mini-guide thing reminds us that sometimes scum do stuff just to look town, hence bussing etc. I actually think if you weigh up the self voting incident in this mini-guide, remembering that scum can do stuff just to look town its not even that much of a town tell. Whatever.

The numbers meant they were surrounded by potential bingos should they nominate the wrong person.

The board started flashing in a frenzy of colours. Its neon lights buzzed and sparked with each flash, and it started to shake violently. Strangely, it also managed to hoist itself upright as it placed itself nicely against one of the casino walls.

"YOU."

A voice spoke. It was inexplicably deep and throaty, sounding possessed and demonic.

"Errr... yes?"

"YES, YOU."

"Errr... ... yeah?"

"I SAID YOUUUUUUUU!"

"ALRIGHT fine I'm coming."

One of the individuals walked over to the board. The others had just nominated him.

"STATE YOUR NAME."

"Red Ruy"

"...THAT'S... REALLY YOUR NAME? THAT ISN'T ON RECORD. STATE YOUR NAME AGAIN."

"I mean Red Ryu sorry... sorry... I'm a bit nervous you see. I don't want to die."

Red Ruy Ryu walked closer to the board.

"CLOSER"

His nose was now touching the aboard. Specifically, it was now touching the number 6.

Out of nowhere, a rhino fell on him.

He struggled underneath it. It was just as confused. Still it managed to realise the situation a little sooner and picked the flattened Ryu from the large gaping hole in the floor it had just caused. Red Ryu was now mounted on the back of the random rhino as it sped around the casino, running rampant.

"Some help would be good please!"

But it was too late! The rhino suddenly stopped. The break in momentum caused Red Ryu to fling straight off its back and right into the number 6 on the board.

A noise was heard.

"****" shouted someone from the group, "what do we do now?"

Red Ruy Ryu, contestant number 6, vanilla townie, never saw the poor rhino falling from the sky as it slammed straight into him. Out of confusion, it picked him up, ran around and threw him straight into slot 6, where he dissolved into a million particles, becoming one with the board forever! [aka lynched]

There was no time to spare. With a few survivors left, surely the end of this strange experiment was close?

*WHOOSH*

Some of the ceiling panels opened up and down poured gallons of water! It swept through the entire casino, washing away the remaining survivors.

Are they dead?

The experiment is still going strong!

Some of the survivors latched on to bits of debris. Slot machines, poker tables... everything that floated above the surface was a tool for survival. Even the random rhino swimming about was a safe haven amongst the gushing waves. A lightning storm also broke out, with winds reaching extreme speeds!

Suddenly...

"AHOY TH'R MATAYE!"

[Please listen to me]

A pirate ship splashed onto the scene.

"AYERGH! X1"

The survivors all looked at each other as a large gang of pirates emerged.

"Actually... he's Gandhi... so whatevs," spoke one of them, "he's too lazy to assume the political ideological leader role so he's under the lazy guise of X1 for now. I'll let you off for that mistake!"

"AYE?"

"Aye!"

"AYE!... JOLLY GOOD! Gandhi we've come to collect you!"

"...Look I'm busy... some giraffe's given me this tool that shoots lasers you see. I'm going to go and observe it for a moment."

Actually, it's most likely that the final scum is mafia, rather than indy. Glyph not only claimed BP after a No Kill night, but he was hella townie in the way that he caught scum in this game.

The fact that I was left alive over X1 makes me think that Seik thought I was more likely to side with him than X1 was. Do you agree, Seik?

Scum can No Kill deliberately. Then claim BP. Explains why a "cleared town" by most wasn't killed.

He caught J scum surprisingly early, for something that he didn't criticise GLG OR KevinM for. They all said they were town early on, yet he didn't comment on Kev first (then called him Town) and mentioned GLG.

He didn't catch TDWscum. When I asked him about J/TDW/Soup scum he said TDW scum sounded possible or something like that. If I remember correctly he hardly pushed TDW or questioned them. He only got on the wagon when the "cop" claimed a guilty. And scum thought the cop claim was legit clearly, as Nabe was nked.

Okay, lets get it.

I have proof that Seikend is the last scum member thanks to my night actions last night.

"Oh but Glyph you're the bulletproof townie you can't be scum!" True! I'm an independent, still bulletproof, but on top of that I benefit from the bingo just as well as scum does. But how do I know scum is still alive?

My wincon. I'm a survivor, all I need to do is make it to the end of the game and I win alongside anyone else there. Since the game hasn't ended yet, its pretty clear that someone is scum.

On the night of a bingo, I'm given the following options to chose from:

Role stop (dubbed, Fusion Suit)
- One player of my choosing is protected from all night actions during the night. So safe from NKs, but also can't be targeted by our cops
Reporter (dubbed, Camo)
-I am told if a player if doing anything in the night
Role Sense (dubbed, Psyche Lock)
-I can choose a player and find out their number and alignment (pretty much the combination of X1 and Aposl, just a lot harder to use)
Suppress (dubbed, Erana's Peace)
-One player of my choosing is roleblocked

Its worth noting that only horizontal and vertical bingos count. Once I use one of those abilities, it is gone for the remainder of the game, and all powers must be used on the night after it is received.

Now, I really am told that scum has the ability to take away my bulletproof ability upon a bingo, but I'm pretty sure that hasn't happened since X1's results have shown him investigating himself twice now. Assuming Seik's powers follow a similar pattern as mine, he has a list of scum powers he can access during the night on nights of a bingo. I'd wager that tonights was some form of redirection, used on X1.

Which means MY result was unhampered by his powers.

I chose the Role Sense power, which I used on Seikend. I was given no result, saying that my hands were shaking as I attempted to retrieve it.

Seikend, our friend the "VT", is number 13, and the final member of the scum team.

Look at his play from yesterDay. He first states a desire to produce a case against me on 5/9/11 at 8:08 am (my time). The day went on for just under 24 hours beyond that, during which time Seik made no effort to produce a case, or even start one. Why is that scummy? Because he should have had the idea that he might die overnight. Scum could have very easily picked him off instead of X1 and stopped him from ever building his case, while framing me in one fell swoop. GG town, scum rides high.

He knew he was going to live through the night, so why bother rushing.

While I'm working on it you should probably explain why scum would have the passive ability for cop investigations to come up as no result on them by the way.

As I said before, all it does is paint a big red sign on their back saying they're scum. It literally does not benefit scum at all.

If this isn't enough, consider the fact that J faked a posting restriction (which essentially stopped him playing for the day) AND replaced out.

Godfather bussing his scummate on D1 is not unheard of.

Glyph did nothing towards TDW. He acknowledged TDWscum. He barely pushed them at all. He was only on the wagon when the "cop" claimed a guilty.

Night Actions do not clear Glyph. Unless you can explain what happened at night with TWO No Kills, then clearing anyone because of a No Kill is dumb.

No, I really didn't. Calling someone out would have been something along the lines of:

"I'm really not liking how they're just avoiding posting, they're probably scum." All I said is that they should post. Not saying they're town, not saying they're scum.

Aposl's posts absolutely reek of a newer town player to me. His policy on lynching the worst player is exactly the kind of thing I would expect from someone new to forum mafia, if he were scum he wouldn't have even mentioned it.

In every post he is asserting that J is scum and must be lynched. Is it just me who this looks incredibly off to? If you’re town you don’t know anything to start with. You flip and you flop and try to work out who is scum. The only time someone is this confident that someone is scum is if they know who scum is. Either via night actions, or, it’s a bus.

In terms of Glyph/J.

The only real issue I have with Glyph is his over-confidence on KevinM and J as town and scum respectively. Unfortunately I don't know how reliable his meta on them for self-claiming town, so I can't say if his confidence is justified.

This is the next substantial post from Glyph after the Early Glyph/J shenanigans. He had a bit with BSL before about BSL being scummy for rolefishing.

Okay that catches me up pretty well. Onto new and brighter things.

J should be lynched today.
BSL should be lynched toMorrow. His "joke" was unfounded (nor was it similar in nature to the ones I made), and his refusal to provide a a case to support his attacks beyond "the bad things" radiates scum waves so harshly I may be losing years of my lifespan. Smar would also be a viable candidate for toMorrow's lynch, though the only thing I've taken issue with recently is her revival of the questions from over 10 pages ago for Aposl.

Smar, why did you wait so long to ask for an answer to those if you didn't receive one immediately after you posted them?

BSL, if you're town, build a case against me.

I hope the point is pretty clear now.

After he pushes J scum for crazy reasons, he just disappears and occassionally pops in with a few stances. He doesn't push or question any other directions. Entirely reactive, not pro-active at all.

The important part of the complete lack of questioning on his he does. He asks nothing. Why?

Because he already knows people's stances, obviously. He doesn't need to figure it out.
