I agree with gheb's philosophy. Shoot first,ask questions later. Maybe preceded by wave gun around until answers are found.

I asked for the cooldown. I knew it had been 24 in the previous BIMs. I knew what could shoot, what exploded, etc.

previous BIMs is not this BIM. You didn't read the roles of THIS open setup, yet you talked about the importance of using the open setup to our advantage.

I'm not fine with that. 48 hours isn't enough, IMO. That's the inactivity timer, so it's possible that players will have one post between now and then. Lets get a lot more discussion please? We can go back to that after.

The solid reason is getting more talking done in general. It doesn't even have to be talking with Kantrip. I want to flesh out my own reads more, and I assume most people wouldn't mind having more discussion. Hell, ignore every single one of Kantrip's posts and pretend like he's already dead for all I care. I just want the Day to last longer. YesterDay was over in 24ish hours. Let's not do that again. We have no deadline.

The fact is, he hit the godfather. THAT'S why he's town. Not because of when or how he took the shot, but because of who it hit. That doesn't mean I'd let him do it again.

Why are you adding the latter? How do you expect that you would stop him from shooting again, and (if it were justified) why would you?

I shot Soup because,

1) I wanted to shoot him back for toonami
2) I wanted to shoot my gun and just not give a ****.
3) he made a post justifying his rage as a town tell.

Well only one real point is legitimate, rest is just lulz. I have a gun so I said **** this I'm playing like Marshy and shooting first. In hignsight I should have pressed him for stances or something but oh well.

Why did you make that comment about hindsight, and then say the following antithesis:

But you said the following earlier.

Ryu, why did you shoot soup? The reason you gave at the time of the actual shot was unsettling.

This suggests that you weren't only interested in Ryu's approach to the setup, at odds with what you said in the other quote.

I also wanna point out that Kantrip did this little dance where he latches onto somebody "obvtown", and pointed out how obviously town I was in "Don't Play This - Toonami". He was right, I was town, and he knew that because he was scum in that game. Don't get too comfortable with him just because his reads look accurate. Read him.

What was your read on Kantrip at this juncture? You used phrasing that suggests a scumread, but I don't recall a scumread on Kantrip prior to this / in D1.

Nabe is being.... difficult. I'm not sure why he's disagreeing with everyone else but I don't like it. It's not that I don't disagree with a Katrip death, it's that he wants things his way and doesn't bother explaining why. Plus I have Rake as town.

Just because you can't read him doesn't mean others can't. Would you be willing to trust, say, mine or RR's read on him?
