Kupo. The 50% hitlag already screws up zss enough, and we can only speed up her moves so much. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with the current hitlag code we're running, so until we can just completely exempt zss's stuns from it I really think we shouldn't screw with it any more.

@Fixing the cstick: However much I hate it, I believe some people use it intentionally to perform tilts. Also, if the cstick truly is just a macro of smash+A, then I don't think there's any real way to fix it, since the game reads it as you holding a direction, and then on the next frame... you still holding that direction but also pressing A.

Ganondorf's choke= After frame 20, 1.3x
Samus' homing missles, after frame 20= 2
Samus' super missles, after frame 25= 2
Ivysaur= After frame 10, 1.5x faster.
ZSS Charged blaster now has less lag afterwards.
Bowser Grab Release set to 23 frames.
Bowser Don't Care: Now follows .9 * X -.4 where X = incoming damage.


Wolf has been modified to be heavier again, but much more playable.
Samus now has a bit more down gravity and a bit faster fast fall.
Mario is now slightly heavier.
Sheik is now slightly heavier and faster in the air.
Zelda has a shorter short hop.
Ice climbers have a slight increase in down gravity.
Pit's overall gravity has been increased slightly.
D3's FF speed has been dropped slightly.
MK SH raised from .85 to .9.

Here is an idea. STOP using an OUTDATED hitlag code! Its no wonder why our tv screen don't match. You don't want to affect her stuns? Fine. Use MY code which is UPDATED and does NOT affect her stuns!!!!

Kupo, that code adds 0.1 frames of hitlag, and is otherwise indistinguishable from other hitlag codes, unless I'm missing something.

Is there any REASON why hitlag should be lowered further? The game feels plenty fluid as it is. Allowing for DI/SDI is incredibly important to allow counters to things like MK's fair juggle and Fox' drill combos. An argument cannot simply consist of "I think" or "try". WHY is the current value inferior?

I personally feel the game flows better at that value for the bigger impacts. If you compare the numbers from .4 to .5, they hardly change with the low to mid which means SDI doesn't affect those moves. I mean, is there really any clear proof as to why that setting is better? No, but it feels better and the game flows better. I don't have a problem with the flow of the average moves, its the bigger moves. They still have more impact sure but it feels like a drag.

You guys had a problem with ZSS stun gun. I fixed that. Now whats the problem? The fact that she can't perform two dsmashes in a row? Is that the only reason you have to say no to a better overall flowing game? That's like saying we should remove the hitstun code because kirby can't do the gonzo combo anymore.

I can still do a dsmash to fsmash combo. It still works. The only difference is instead of it because a no brainer combo, you have to adjust for the DI when they leave the move. Is this so terrible? It's like saying that DDDs CG is ok. A fsmash hit from ZSS is guaranteed, as in, there is nothing you can do to defend against the fsmash which is not something we promote which is why the DDD and falco CGs were bad.

It isn't like this small change breaks her either. I mean, people are talking about ways to nerf her because she is really good and combos really well. One hit from the dsmash is enough to pull of nasty combos so I really don't see a problem. The stun gun had a problem because it was purely hitlag which we fixed, and the dsmash has half hitlag and half hitstun. I fail to see how half hitlag and half hitstun breaks makes ZSS so sucky as a justifiable means to take away flow from the rest of the game. I'm not asking to go any lower. I'm just asking to do .4 +1 in the next set to see what people think.

I changed it to .4 because you got me scared by think I was actually adding hitlag which I don't think it does. So here

Kupo, Cape made a nice demonstration to me: Try to SDI out of MKs fair at .4x. Thats why we are at .5

Have you tried .4 + 5? It should make a difference. We are not limited to just .4 or .5. We should be able to do .45. We have a nice range in between we haven't even considered.

Also, might I suggest we make hitstun .484 with the addition of the momentum code?

I also think tech rolls should be 1.5

I think we need a slight dash speed increase as well as making tech rolls 1.5. Is it possible that the gravity increase makes the characters run slightly slower?

after playing falcon for a bit now, I really think he is too heavy. He feels like a heavy toed character which he is not. I find its harder to stay with people who are launched far away because of how far moves send ppl. Melee falcon could cover the entire board very quickly and I don't feel this to be true because of how heavy he is. I propose people to try these two settings. You can still keep the same SH height but you won't be sucked to the floor. I always felt he was more of a FF to get to the ground faster character anyway. I personally like the second seting but what are your thoughts on both when you try them out?
