What are the best throws to tech chase with?

IMO, from best to worst

1. Kirby's D-throw
2. Sheik's D-throw
3. Falcon's D-throw
4. Marth's D/B/F-throw
5/6. Roy's D/B/F-throw/G&W's D-throw
7-x. Everyone else

Falcon's U-Throw is better for tech-chasing fast fallers :/
G&W's d-throw also CGs the fastest fallers (Maybe not Falcon) so I don't really see how that's a tech-chase throw.

I feel like you made this thread just to put Kirby at the top.

The problem is you need to define "best"
Who has most time to react after the throw?
If you're thinking that, then, for instance, Marth's forward throw has notably less lag and more time to respond then his other throws. Between back and down, it depends on the situation, but both are only useful for mixups and for forcing them behind you. So Marth's fthrow should be higher on the list than his others. I'm sure this is true for other throws on this list but I don't know precisely which ones.

Kirby should be #3.

I am amazing at tech-chasing with him, but as a character he can't keep up with Sheik and Falcon. They are substantially faster than him, and it makes it much easier to keep up with tech chases.

On slow/short rolling characters, I'd say Kirby is tied with Sheik though.
Dthrow is too good, lol.

Sheik's d-throw
Falcon's d-throw / up throw
Marth's f-throw

These aren't really ordered but I think Sheik's tech chase is the best because of how easy the f-tilt & dash attack follows are.

Link d-throw is alright but not nearly as good as the above

I dunno if there's really anything good after that

I guess Peach d-throw if you're on platform?

Fox's f-throw is okay after like 40% or whatever but why bother when you can up throw combo?

Link has that long grab, so you don't even need to run that far to tech-chase grab, really.

falcon's dthrow\uthrow + his insane speed give him the #1 spot imo. Fox would be a close second, followed by sheik, marth and roy (due to decent dash speed and good grab range). I know nothing of kirby's tech chase game

honorable mentions go to link and samus. Esp samus. Extenderrrrrrrrr is the bestest tech chase evar

Falcon's uthrow is good against FFers, I agree

but his d-throw is better for everyone else esp when you WD forward a bit

Kirby's tech chase simply for regrab is MONSTROUS. Doing stuff out of it is different, but I dunno, I don't play Kirby

I guess G&W's doesn't count

Any other notable ones? IIRC Zelda has a good d-throw but is too slow to do anything after it anyways

Fox bthrow on Falco, Falco bthrow on Fox lol
Falco dthrow on Fox cause I think you can get at least one before they shine or di out of it

Yeah but his grab is also slower so the timing is tighter on tech stands and ****.
Tech chases are alright with Link, but the damn stand always defeats me. =P You need some knowledge of your opponent to succeed with Link's tech chase, in my opinion. I often prefer to uthrow since there are better options than attempting to slowly rack up damage with a tough technique.
