Best easy-to-use character?

I was wondering what character would be best if the player doesn't use lots of advanced techniques (L-canceling, short hops, etc.)

Everyone needs them kirby is the easiets to play as in this game he only has 5 moves to learn how to use so it's really simple to learn what's up really fast.

Learn how to short hop and L-cancel or you'll get destroyed, neither are that hard, they just take practice
learn them with bowser first because its easiest to learn with him

as far as who has the easiest learning curve, its sheik imo

I think shiek has the easiest learning curve tech skill wise because after your JC grabs and short hops and l cancels youre basically done, shes a lot more mindgames and techchases, stuff like shinostalling is cool but its not necessary. Maybe captain falcon, but hes really easy to combo too.

If you want to get better at the game you should learn advanced techs no matter who you are. Fox is one of the hardest because he falls so fast and Dair has different l cancel timings depending on how many times you hit the opponent, and he can get comboed by everyone

Fox is probably the most technical character, and he requires really fast finger movements, so I wouldn't exactly describe him as an "easy-to-use character". I'd still say go for it, because he's really an amazing character who's fun to play.

The only great, easy-to-use characters I can think of are Jigglypuff and Sheik (and maybe Marth), but they're not really easy to play in the sense that they have a low learning curve. They are less technical than other characters, but that doesn't mean they're easy to get god with. No characters are.

you have to WD as sheik sheik isn't like zedla who never needs to WD. MH has the shortest learning curce as of now.

Sheik. Just grab, tilts, fair, and bair. It's an oversimplification, but at lower levels of play, doing this effectively can **** other newbs.

marth ***** noobs far worse than sheik I swear they can't even think it being possible to hit him vs sheik CCing and junk will hit sometimes.

Also my falco is more techical than my pichu but my pichu is waaaaaaaaaaayy better. Pick who you want for how they play I can't mess with people's heads like how I want with anyone but pichu.

I thought it was about skill. If it's ATs then go bowser never WD up-B oos for everything and even the least techical players can SHFFL with him in fact I SH with the C-stick as him so my airs come out on frame 1.

Pick a good character that you like, preferably out of this list:

Fox
Jiggz
Falco
Sheik
Marth
Peach
Captain Falcon
ICs (maybe)

Honestly nobody else is worth using.

Out of those, I'd say the easiest to learn quickly are Jiggz and Sheik, as they require the least tech skill. After that, Marth and Peach can be easy if you play against bad people, because then you can just fsmash or dsmash spam respectively.

Characters that are worth learning:
Fox and/or Falco(my opinion best characters in the game, well worth learning them, they **** most everybody except for jiggz, and that matchup is still slightly in their advantage)
Jiggz (my fave character, has some broken attacks and many other strongsuits, including recovery, gimps, can't be comboed easily due to light weight, etc, ***** everyone except for fox and falco, but only slightly loses to those two)
Sheik (chaingrab, fair, dsmash, ***** everybody except for fox falco and jiggz)

puff and sheik are the easiest (good) characters

everyone else will need a crash course in wavedashing. Honestly though it's easier than l-canceling and you'll have it in a couple weeks if you practice it. l-canceling comes from a lifetime of painful accumulation of situational timings.
