Banjo and Kazooie bretheren,
Even if they don't appear in tomorrow's direct, or even at all, we shouldn't take that as defeat. Banjo and Kazooie have been talked about more than I ever have ever seen them in years and it's now more clear than ever we want the Bear and Bird back.
They may take our character slot, but they will never take our hope!

I'm seeing a lot of people say they don't want Banjo because he is a Duck Hunt clone. It's really annoying because that's in no way true.

I don’t think Shinobi would be hinting at a mii costume. Everyone treats mii costumes as a death sentence for a character until maybe the next game, just like assist trophies. He’d also face a lot of hate from fans as if he was completely wrong.

This is unacceptable lol but seriously Banjo is in. Grab your honeycombs and collect some jiggies!
Here's a fun game:
1) Red Button: No Banjo
Blue Button: You get Banjo but he's Fat Banjo from the beginning of Nuts and Bolts
2) Red Button: No Banjo
Button: Conker comes in cussing up a storm and getting drunk. He's heavily censored and takes the next slot in the fighter pass
3) Red Button: No Banjo
Blue Button: Yooka Laylee come take the slot instead

EDIT: ^ I'd press the blue button in all three cases. I'd press it with gusto for Yooka and Laylee.

- Pretty much every insider to the point of them calling Grinch fake because he wasn't in it.-I think just Verge? -Some poor Nintendo intern. Insiders is basically just Verge.-Almost everyone once Verge came onto the scene.

I know Vergeben mentioned all four, but I remember at least one insider saying something about knowing even K. Rool due to seeing the directs early, and of course Jonneh and maybe someone else teased Ridley on ResetEra.Ok serious question:

Go in with Banjo, Mario and Sonic during the Final Battle. EPIC.
OR change Sonic with Cloud or whoever the new Square Rep is.

After every hour passes, you must go “Uh-huh!” In Banjo’s voice and then “Burreeeee!!” in Kazooie’s voice. I know many of you will be heading to bed in a few hours but the real challengers sets their alarms to wake them up per hour.

Only going by memory, so it's rough:
- Verge and every insider following the Grinch banner- Verge- Verge and the Smash website (legitimate leak)- Verge, and a couple other insiders. Forget who precisely.I'd say only two leakers back Banjo - Shinobi and Verge (as with the above, that's a pretty good sign). Imran, NateDrake and GameXplain are taking Shinobi seriously. Imran's comments were a bit confusing, whether he was referring to Shinobi or his other sources. So, if the latter, than he'd be the third.

The one on Peach's Castle? I believe we discussed that the text being off-kilter and Steve's model encroaching on the UI are clear indicators of its... questionability, let's say.
Has anybody seen this? I know Sabi said they aren't going to leak the Direct anymore but do you think they saw something and want to make sure we don't get our hopes up?

Still no backpedaling or further comments from Shinobi. He knows what he's doing.
And he does not strike me as someone who'd troll the fans if Banjo is only a Mii costume, especially when he's putting his reputation on the line.
I'm curious to see if we'll hear from Verge in the 11th hour or if some hapless Nintendo employee screws up like they did with Simon.

Sheesh, just yesterday I was scrolling through my community feed on my Xbox One and read a Banjo related post and saw a comment of someone saying Banjo is "just Duck Hunt with shorts." (And someone else said he should be a Steve costume...) Anyone who thinks Banjo would be a clone of Duck Hunt needs to go play some Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie.
