I do wonder where you are reading these stories for them to get "ruined" with these stories though. Then again I never look at fanfictions (or story books in general) because I'd rather just imagine my own story in my head.

It would be somewhat similar to sora's side special in super smash flash 2. It would be throwable whenever, but Dee wouldn't be able to move while it flies. It disappears after collision, or depending on fly time. In "Return To Dreamland", Dee could charge up the throwing move, and have it throw three spears at the same time, widening its range. It would be nice as an edge guard, and could follow into combos.

Well it says on it that the last time they said they had the full roster for brawl they had the full roster minus the hidden characters! So even if BD isn't on the list they bring out theres still a chance that he will be there as a hidden character

That CoroCoro news is pretty interesting. Most of the time I've only seen/heard them reveal things for Pokemon, but, either way.

It doesn't seem like Sakurai would want them to reveal the entire roster like that, though. For all we know they could just be showing the currently revealed characters, but we can already do that by going on the website, so..

Anyways, if BWD isn't on the roster, MAKE SURE to check the stages as well in the sake that he could be a stage hazard for an unannounced Kirby stage. I doubt it, but there's always that one chance. If he doesn't show up on either the roster nor stages, there's two things that could have happened.
1. He's part of King Dedede's Final Smash.
2. He's a secret character just like with what happened in Brawl's CoroCoro reveal.

So, who knows? We'll just have to wait and see what happens. Aren't we still waiting for Wario to be revealed some time this week to prove the validity of a Gematsu leak? Or was that last week?

I'm pretty sure Sakurai is gonna balance the series this time, with DK, Metroid, KI, Starfox, and Earthbound each getting 2. Very balanced, very professonial. Falco has the Melee advantage over Wolf. Toon Link isn't as big of a reveal as someone like Ray Man. Having him just appear as a trophy like that and then say "Oh, well, he's a character too" would just kill off the hype IMO.

But I don't think we'll get anymore 3rd Party characters unless Snake is returning. We've pretty much reached the brim with Pac-Man, and he's only in because of Namco-Bandai working on the game.

Bandana Waddle Dee definitely has the biggest role out of them all. Like you said, Knuckle Joe is an Assist Trophy, and Magolor is most likely not going to appear in another Kirby game aside from cameos because he'll just be replaced by another Taranza or something like that. So he definitely doesn't have much competition for a new Kirby rep, especially when you compare it to FE's numerous character spots and how Robin took Chrom's spot.

While I love your positive words, I tend to dislike things that are seem rather incorrect.

Magolor not bringing anything new to the table? He's a blank slate mage character, those two things together makes it so they can do whatever the heck they want with his moveset. I highly doubt that he wouldn't bring anything to the table. I haven't looked at his appearances after Return to dreamland much so I don't know if he has any moves. Even then, Smash isn't afraid of creating entirely new moves for characters that already have more than enough moves to pull from.
Of course, I'm still hoping that someday in the future Magolor will be playable like Meta Knight (and Kind Dedede) did. Gotta wait for the next multiplayer Kirby beat-em-up.

I'm starting to wonder about Marx now. Magolor is pretty much a summary of previous bosses in Kirby, but with a little more influence from Marx, because well, Marx is the only one where he has a story other than "TAKE OVER THE WORLD", and because Kirby Superstar was one of the favorites of the Kirby franchise.

Now I dont know enough about the more recent kirbys so I'm not sure how big of cameos Magolor is making in comparison to Marx. I'm a little worried that Marx will be phased out a bit overtime with his cameos.

It would be awesome if we could have both. Afterall, they are such different characters that they don't clash with each other's themes. Theme-wise I like Magolor more, Though, I have an easier time imagining that I'd main Bandana Dee because of his long-range, quick poking melee attacks. I'd just have to play them to know if they both got in the game.

What about a king's minion, wielding a spear, and reaching the utilization of kirby, isnt quirky? each little passing waddle dee has been nothing but a cookie in all the past kirby games. For one to pick up a spear, and be able to hold is own, is quite strange. Do you see any koopas with a sword, being able to fight? Any viable top-percentage ratatta? BANDANA DEE CAN TWIRL HIS SPEAR FAST ENOUGH TO FLY LIKE A HELICOPTER!!! Badass, and quirky.
