That's assuming Palutena's Guidance comes back, which will be quite the time consuming process considering we're looking at 70+ Characters.i got the dopest idea
So Bandana Waddle Dee gets in and stuff
and they use Palutena's Guidance on him
and then out of nowhere King Dedede comes in
and he has his voice actor from Right Back at Ya
that's it
That's the best idea I've ever heard and the second best thing I've ever heard next to Plantation Dedede of course.i got the dopest idea

Did someone say memes? How about we all just start posting Dee memes (with context) so we can all laugh this off?
What, where?MOONSTRUCK BLOSSOM CONFIRMED
Thanks, for both things
That actually had been talked about for several days ago on the Confirmed Music thread. One of the most Hype new songs, it seems. What, where?
I'm sure it is just a waiting game. Either for base or hopefully in a package with a certain Bandana boy. That actually had been talked about for several days ago on the Confirmed Music thread. One of the most Hype new songs, it seems.
But the real question remains: where is P.R.O.G.R.A.M.?
I sure do hope so. That's the single best battle soundtrack in gaming history and nothing will change my mind on that.I'm sure it is just a waiting game. Either for base or hopefully in a package with a certain Bandana boy.
Most likely In the base game and we just have to wait and see. I'd be surprised if Planet Robobot wasn't part of the soundtrack. That actually had been talked about for several days ago on the Confirmed Music thread. One of the most Hype new songs, it seems.

It makes sense too, when you consider that they attack you all at once on the Another Dimension mode.Marx would be cool, period. Heck, any Kirby character would be super cool, they're all unique.
I think I accidentally made the post that started that without realizing it........
Thanks for the pictures! I'm glad they work as a trio and not like the animal friends, it would suck if I could only use one of them as 1/3 of their moveset.
You think Skull Kid has the roughest. He's still not Tingle.I stand by Skull Kid having it the roughest.
Didn't even get shown in the direct. Just hidden away on the website. The most we accomplished was a more detailed mii costume
I hope we do get season 2 that upgrades popular assist trophies
Bandana Dee feels like my last hope for a most wanted now, the only character I got that I really wanted was Ridley.
Although King Boo has had a bit of a rise in popularity. And Banjo fans still seem to be holding on to some hope I guess.
On that note, I think we're in the same position as the Dixie fanbase right now: too much music and there won't be much reason for the Dee to show up if there isn't any to package him with left. Most likely In the base game and we just have to wait and see. I'd be surprised if Planet Robobot wasn't part of the soundtrack.
Well, they thought that between Toad getting constantly getting passed over other Mario characters and Sakurai apparently making him a bigger part of Peach's moveset after being "treated" as a meat shield/hostage for a long time and the reasoning for it being seen as flimsy, that must mean Sakurai doesn't like Toad at all.![]()
How could that be their theory?
Is that the Dixie logic? Makes sense. Also it's possible that we wouldn't have PR music since it may have come out too late in development, but who knows. On that note, I think we're in the same position as the Dixie fanbase right now: too much music and there won't be much reason for the Dee to show up if there isn't any to package him with left.
I mean, Sakurai anti-bias against Kirby can be made as an argument, but the man has no reason to hate toad for whatever reason. I have nothing against Toad or his supporters....but those are just bogus arguments.Well, they thought that between Toad getting constantly getting passed over other Mario characters and Sakurai apparently making him a bigger part of Peach's moveset after being "treated" as a meat shield/hostage for a long time and the reasoning for it being seen as flimsy, that must mean Sakurai doesn't like Toad at all.
Amazing how a compromise can lead people to jump to this kind of conclusion...![]()
We have XC2 music and other stuff more recent than Planet Robobot so I doubt it will be an issue. Is that the Dixie logic? Makes sense. Also it's possible that we wouldn't have PR music since it may have come out too late in development, but who knows.
I had no idea XC2 was part of the soundtrack. Raises my hopes! We have XC2 music and other stuff more recent than Planet Robobot so I doubt it will be an issue.
Lol yea, the November 1st direct had a whole segment on it.I had no idea XC2 was part of the soundtrack. Raises my hopes!
It should be noted that we could get PR music but not PROGRAM. Intermezzo Without a Leader (phase 2) or Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection (phase 3/NOVA) are equally likely for boss themes, but PROGRAM is pretty awesome regardless.
All I noticed was Rex mii outift, kind of killed it for me.Lol yea, the November 1st direct had a whole segment on it.
Honestly just give us any new Kirby music its all great!
People are clinging to their last shred of hope and assume that ATs aren't that hard to reprogram. Smash 4 should have been enough to prove that this isn't the case. Also, that since Nintendo called the shots recently, that must mean "hey, Rex has a chance" to some, yet nobody considered that we'll most likely just get characters from before 2015.All I noticed was Rex mii outift, kind of killed it for me.
Also, I hate saying this, but Sakurai himself said XC2 wasn't going to be part of the DLC since it came out too late. He also said no echo DLC, and assist trophies won't be playable either (although he never said that last one, it's pretty much true). How come so many people are speculating otherwise?
Luckily that first one isn't likely, since ATs haven't been downloadable before and since.Did someone say memes?

Yea seeing Rex 'deconfirmed' was unexpected everyone thought he was going to be DLC. Also I can explain people's reasonings:All I noticed was Rex mii outift, kind of killed it for me.

While I can see the reasoning behind that, I wouldn't get too worried since both Kirby and DK have far more than enough AMAZING music tracks to cover new DLC stages while still have plenty of new music tracks in the base game. I could honetsly coulld fill 3 stages worth of music with the Tropical Freeze soundtrack ALONE, and since we have a finite amount of possible tracks in the base game (800 give of take several IRC), there are bound to be many more great musics left for eventual DLCs.On that note, I think we're in the same position as the Dixie fanbase right now: too much music and there won't be much reason for the Dee to show up if there isn't any to package him with left.
That is pretty fair. Hell, there's a ton of Kirby games that probably didn't even get their songs in Smash, so I bet they could even pool from Block Ball if they wanted to.While I can see the reasoning behind that, I wouldn't get too worried since both Kirby and DK have far more than enough AMAZING music tracks to cover new DLC stages while still have plenty of new music tracks in the base game. Even Kirby games with representations don't come even close to being drained of their soundtrack potential. Be it the actual battle themes usually fitting for smash or all the other tracks that could get an upbeat remix for the occasion. That is pretty fair. None, because they're only uploading songs that were ported into Ultimate from other games other than the menu (partial) theme, which was probably given to them by someone who was granted access to it by Nintendo. No one will have access to any of the new remixes in full until the game is released (or leaked). Also, how much music has Crunchii been able to rip, anyway? They apparently couldn't get the full version of Guile's remix, yet has no problem getting most of the rest.
Well, Nintendo did give Crunchii permission for the menu themes.None, because they're only uploading songs that were ported into Ultimate from other games other than the menu (partial) theme, which was probably given to them by someone who was granted access to it by Nintendo. No one will have access to any of the new remixes in full until the game is released (or leaked).
It's nice to see more songs popping up, but it's too bad that they all appear to be ports. (Not that the originals are bad, of course, it's just nice to have new mixes.) So far we only have two new remixes confirmed, right? ("City Trial" and the KDL1/KSS staff roll mix.) I wonder if the DLC will focus on remixes for the first-party characters (if there are any) since they won't have to get additional music rights like they will for third-parties...
That's true. Potential echoes? I'm thinking Dixie, Galacta Knight, Octoling, Hilda, or maybe even another version of Link are in the realm of possibility. But remember that echoes also include amiibo, which each take a year to develop, and they're already developing 77 figures, plus 5 DLC characters. He didn't say there's no echo DLC in general, he just said that the fighter pass is entirely unique characters. Echoes completely seperate from the fighter pass is still a possibility.
That's for sure. Let's just hope he's realisable enough for DLC resources.Dee would be Smash's first fighter to use both a spear and a parasol. He's the most unique DLC candidate I can think of.
I for one am glad they kept bangers like the SML underground theme and the best Dedede remix this side of Star Allies, among others. Some Kirby songs are so good as is that it's tough to want them remixed.None, because they're only uploading songs that were ported into Ultimate from other games other than the menu (partial) theme, which was probably given to them by someone who was granted access to it by Nintendo. Probably, but until then it's pure conjecture. We can't rule out Sakurai's "one and done" game dev philosophy that Nintendo is steadily drifting away from.He didn't say there's no echo DLC in general, he just said that the fighter pass is entirely unique characters. Echoes completely seperate from the fighter pass is still a possibility.
Yeah, at most I could expect a Ms. Pac-Man Echo inclusion, aside maybe Dixie.
I'm not saying I EXPECT echo DLC... But I totally expect echo DLC.That's true.
That seems... overly specific. It's like saying that Aeron from Pandora's Tower should be a playable character because he's the only one who uses a giant chain as a weapon, or that Cranky Kong should be playable because he'd be Smash's first fighter to use a cane.Dee would be Smash's first fighter to use both a spear and a parasol. He's the most unique DLC candidate I can think of.
They could be free though. If they're more like Lucina or Daisy where they're pretty much alt skins with slightly different properties, that could very easily be something they just give to us to keep the game alive longer. The Duck Hunt stage was free, and also Splatoon 2 keeps doing this. It's really not as ridiculous as you might think.I wonder if echoes would really be DLC? There's no way they'd be free but they also wouldn't be able to charge full price for them. Maybe they could do echo bundles like they did with mii costumes. As for now though I only expect the 5 newcomers we're getting though I do hope for a second season.
We don't have a fighter who uses a spear. let's start with that. A parasol now? That's pretty cool. But spear for starters. That seems... overly specific. It's like saying that Aeron from Pandora's Tower should be a playable character because he's the only one who uses a giant chain as a weapon, or that Cranky Kong should be playable because he'd be Smash's first fighter to use a cane.
To be less specific, we don't have a fighter with a very long range melee weapon that can't be bent. Whips are obviously very different from spears. We don't have a fighter who uses a spear. let's start with that. A parasol now? That's pretty cool. But spear for starters.
Especially since the Belmonts' whips are designed to be slow but powerful, kind of the opposite of a spear. To be less specific, we don't have a fighter with a very long range melee weapon that can't be bent. Whips are obviously very different from spears.
Given that, it would make for some tense and exciting pitched combat matches.Especially since the Belmonts' whips are designed to be slow but powerful, kind of the opposite of a spear.
Real talk, I’d love Aeron to be in Smash. That seems... overly specific. It's like saying that Aeron from Pandora's Tower should be a playable character because he's the only one who uses a giant chain as a weapon, or that Cranky Kong should be playable because he'd be Smash's first fighter to use a cane.
