Competitively: Option 2 is by far the best choice.
Gives breathing room for the best players to 'rest' before having to go hard in brackets.

Thats the only thing I had against option 2 personally. Anyone who gets eliminated really has no reason to show up Sunday if they're entering smash only. Needs to be mixed up imo. I kinda like the separate day for each game, but then attendance is yet again an issue.

but it means that people who don't make brackets can actually ENJOY THEMSELVES OUTSIDE OF BEING IN A CLOSED AREA FOR LIKE FOURTEEN HOURS.
Just saying.
I'm sure people will still show up finals, assuming they know what times those are + to play friendlies + other BAM events.
Plus assuming the bracket is like 30 man... that's still a majority of people needing to be there on sunday.

I guess if we have a full day allocated to singles, then running a bigger bracket shouldn't be a huge issue then.
Im not expecting huge attendance for this though. (for brawl at least,) If we get over 40+ entrants, then 32 man could possibly work. But 24 man is ideal right now.

I'd say 24 is ideal for both games, maybe 32 if there's 40+ entrants per game. Jugging by the entrants thread, there's only about 20-25 people registered so far. If attendance boosts on the day though, We should have enough time if we have all of Sunday to run singles.
(And if people dont run off and ignore matches they need to play, or else you'll feel Redacts wrath)

saturday would be packed hard enough with option 2, no leeway for crews.
I personally like the idea of option 2, thus im voting for it. but there is the flaw that day 2 is like higher end players only day.

Well I did option 2 at Thriller, except I had brawl doubles on the second day (which was a mistake, btw).
First day is very chillaxed and allowed for a lot of friendlies, second day people came to watch the hype when the best players were fresh and ready to win.

Surprised at the love for option 2. Then only people who made brackets have tournaments to attend! Silly!
Option 1 and 3 are good because they let people focus on one game each day so its easier (but of course people who only play one game have less to do)
And 4 and 5 are pretty solid too i thought.

you probably were still crap until recently - but you finally manned up and stopped complaining when people camped you.
BUT THEN IT WAS TOO LATE - everyone was sandbagging against you for so long that you caught up and surpassed them by toooooooooooo much.
