Alright, so I just checked my e-mail and an e-mail dated 11 hours ago from the gameroom supervisor states:
"Daniel,

Just so you know, there is another scheduled event starting at 5PM in
the Gameroom. It is a closed-event. Therefore, the tournament this time
will have to end at the time I scheduled (5PM). However, you do have the
room scheduled from 12-5 tomorrow.

Last time we ended both tournaments at around 6:30pm. Basically, I think we'll only have time for one tournament (singles) since we must now at end at 5pm. I hate it when things outside of my control make things bad for others

The gameroom supervisor is going to get a reply... like, I wouldn't mind this normally, but telling me the day before the event that there is another scheduled event immediately after mine that is a closed-event is very short notice. I like to have the entire day to do stuff. Perhaps someone reserved a time right after my event just recently... either way, e-mail is being sent.

Agreed, Plairnkk. That's why I wanted to know in advance, cause I would have started the event at 10am with the first tournament beginning at noon. Then we could fit in singles and doubles. The game room opens at 10am, but that is early for people who are commuting an hour, which is why I had the time set later in the day.

Edit: Nothing I can do about things at this point. On the bright side, maybe this gives me some time to do some studying.
