If it doesn't matter about death order, then at least let Tan die first. That way, if she's in fact town, I'll take the time to prove to you that Nich is scum. But that's all assuming she even flips town, which I doubt.

Yet if Tan shoots you it forces her cooldown upwards (higher than yours) and so keeps town safe from a scum quickshot.

We've already proved Nich is town. This is not in contest. Saying that Tan's scum flip gives you undeniable proof is irrelevant.

Here's the thing, I don't know if I am fine with it.

Omni and Swiss are cleared by cofirmed cop, that leaves Nich or Gord.

I have doubts about Nich.

1) He asked for bombs to claim. Both flipped scum did the same thing.
2) I felt his shooting Mac was kinda quick. There was a lot of activity going on and the day hadn't lasted that long before he shoot confirmed scum. Why not wait and give Mac time to slip up and give evidence on his partner?
3) Shooting now does nothing to prove a person's alignment. Before shooting proved if someone was the shooter, but with GF and Goon dead it doesn't help as much as before.

On the other hand, Nich has played very actively and mostly townish all game. But it's an almost detached sort of play. I know he said he'd play differently this game, less tunneling, but I don't know if the result is actual growth as a player or scum play.

Tan if you don't shoot Gord I will. That statistically, gives town a lower win prob. Unless you want to increase the chance of town losing....? Because YOU CAN BE SCUM BUT NICH CLEARLY IS NOT.

Nice. Gord's play the last day struck me as off (a bit), but I was surprised that he flipped scum. I really did expect Tand.

It seems my games go a lot better when I find one good town ally to rely on.

By the way, I'd like to apologize for my D1-D2 inactivity. RL was hitting me D1, and when D2 rolled around, I was behind on the thread, the quickshooting had already begun, and I was just incredibly low on motivation, so I basically offered my services as a shooter to counteract my lack of scumhunting. Still, it worked out in the end, I guess.

This game was so freakin ARGH!!! I mean, we had it in the bag after D2... Omni quickshot RIGHT at the beginning of the Day (and I thought they'd quickshoot mac if anything... not zen...), then I went V/LA and was hoping Mac would send the NK N3 cuz I didn't wanna send it so early on Tuesday, but f***in he didn't. If we had sent that NK in and I had quickshot, we'd have won. But NOOOOOOO. N4 was definitely the hardest NK choice. I was torn by arrogance and logic, and I went with logic and shot Nix (arrogance being that Nix wouldn't investigate me)... And then I expected Omni to think I'm town, Swiss to def. think I'm town, and have it be between Nich and Tan... And after I saw SWISS call me or Tan scum, I was like FML. But ehh, ya win some ya lose some. I'm still pretty proud of how I played, it's just that after Mac died the game was stacked against me. If I had played all game the way I played when I replaced in, probz would've been between Nich and Tan. But f***ing s***... I WAS SO CLOSE.

Well, after missing your NK you were pretty much doomed, but I think your best bet would have been to shoot macman yourself for the town points, play Tand as obv-scum, and then NK Omni. Then it likely would have come down to whether Swiss found me or you as scum.

@Zen: i could tell that something was off, dude. when u and i are town we really do click. i normally do my thing and u do your thing. your sudden abrasion on me was definitely unique altho using Mario Kart Mafia as a justification was sensible. i think you played really well but your scummates, unfortunately, werent there to keep the disconnections nor the pressure going properly

i really dont think imma do any more mafia games. like, i really, really like playing mafia with u guys. but i really, really dislike joining a game where like 4 to 5+ people replace and 6+ people are hardcore inactive. it makes the game... SO hard to play and it is silly things such as non-commitment to play a game shouldn't cost town or mafia games like this one dead

this game is a perfect example of how we really need to just start holding people accountable. id be down to play mafia with a cast of players i knew would be active and do simple things like post one or twice a day or uh send in nightkills. i mean jeezus

Yeah, 4+ replacements in a BIM game is a bit ridiculous.

I think that if/when I host my next game, I'll require players to either

a) Have been active in at least 3 of the last 4 games they've played.

b) Hydra with an active player.

Hopefully that would cut down on the replacements and such.

I was quite active for most everything going on. Had it not been for the fact that I thought Mac would pick up where I was V/LA, I'd have sent the NK early. But -___-... Activity's never been an issue with me in the past. Only time I recall replacing out was due to... walrus... but oh well. It was really fun playing with ya.

Zen, Mafia Godfather, daykilled D3: I think you played good. I sensed something was off (and Kat thought you were scum) but overall I would of been happy taking you to endgame. And you would of gotten away with it if it weren't for that meddling Omni =P
