I agree with AltF4, but I'd like to say something in response to GoldenGlove first. I think that is what we're, or at least I am, arguing about. The better player doesn't always win, but the person who played better does.
Anywho... who is ready for NM to take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in singles and 1st and 2nd in doubles B)? I am.
Also, I think you should keep the fee for teams $30 per team. $25 per team is annoying to split up and it is only $5.

I would keep it at 30$ but i had to raise the venue fee to 10$.... i didnt want to raise one price and keep the others just as high. I thought it was fair to lower the cost in teams, if i had to raise the venue cost. I could keep it at 30 i was just trying to avoid flaming. Im pretty sure im going to keep it at 25$.
Final Stages and list of rules will be posted by June 10th, 2008.

Doubles seems to becoming the more popular mode of Brawl instead of singles.
Singles in Melee was easily more popular; however, in Brawl I think doubles is much more of a focus.

Well, my second idea isn't suggesting raising the prices. By reducing singles and increasing doubles it stays the same.

I think it's fine the way it is, Kash. Singles is just as important as doubles, it's just not as much fun. Shouldn't penalize them because we're too lazy to split the price of an odd number.
Kidding aside, I hope to see how much you guys have improved since I last went there and sucked it up (though I only lost to Colorado players in brackets, lololol).

Ive spent around 1200.00$ total on this event so far. i would love to make as much money back as i can however i would like to have 25wiis/tvs. i have 5 t.v.'s myself.

We ~might~ be able to bring more TVs, tangent on how many of our people are going. Wiis, we can definitely bring.
Btw, we actually got ahold of a friend that lives really close to the tournament site, so we're prolly gonna house with him.
Also, shameless self-promotion, Colorado is gonna have a big tournament in August. You guys should come. :D

I believe the front page says you get $5 taken off the venue fee if you bring a complete setup.
The venue fee is free if you bring a setup but im caping it at 25 setups for wii/tv's i dont think ill need more then that. that also includes frendlie t.v.s

Really, it's EoW's tournament, and his choice. Still, listening to everyone else makes for more enjoyable tourneys. Granted, he DID put lylat as a cp, so I already

I can try...but you will wreck me. I can't play melee samus anymore to save my life, because I play samus in brawl. BUT. I do still play fox fine in melee.
I only play fox...it's the only way I can switch between the games heh.
