Cubed64, rmusgrave, Pwnage and mic_128 are all Perth players, recently the vic players flew to wa and we had a tournament at my house, so we've all met eachother. Dang, I just remembered that i never got the chance to verse Kenton and Bryce. Doh'!

Zant3tsuken, we'd all like to meet up with you and smash. Is it possible at Uni to oragnise like a competition/tournament play and have people outside uni compete? It'll be fun and meet up with new people and have a smash community ^^.

I may have things running by the time you guys have held the tournament. Still send the tapes over, and make sure you send 1 to me, 1 to Em, and 1 to Shaz and Cela. 3 total. I dont want squabbles over it. Heaven knows I nearly lost an arm giving the TG4 dvd back ^^. If you dont feel as lazy as I am, make a tape of the ones you want 'netted', and I'll see what I can do. At the VERY least, include a summary of all matches with my tape, and higlight which matches you are specifically proud of. Then I'll take it from there. Remember, the less work I have to do, the more likely I am to finish it.

Perth vs Melbourne hey? I dont watch the show but go Melbourne! You gotta back the right team see? Ah, anway. I have pm'ed Matt Deezie a while ago about his DVD antics regarding TG's and it seems that for at least number 4, (probably any before it also) he used the services of a company called 'Monster Crayons' or something, which gets an obscure crediting, that I never understood but now do, on the back cover. I asked him about this company, and what it is specifically, (I might look it up on the net now actually..) and am going to look into something similar for our DVD. It should be quite good. Sounds promising anyway. All I would have to do is complie what footage I wanted onto video and send it to them on tapes with directions/instructions on how I wanted it laid out. I hope to **** this will be simple. But there may be more news to come, so stay tuned my fellow sma****es.

I talked to my history teacher today and he said it was okay for me to go with you guys for a tour around melbourne. He said he would get the specific locations and dates to me tomorrow so yeah.... 45 days to go!!!!!

I live in Thornbury, which doesnt seem to be too far away from anything (cept for... well... Albury hehe).

Umm, as far as me organising something within the uni, it would require me to use my club connections, but I'm not sure about how the club would feel having another gaming day dedicated to just the one game. Even so I'm in the process of organising the next one, and any or everyone is welcome to come along.

As far as being merciless to noobs go, bring it!!! I am a complete noob but I'm aware of only one way to get better. As I said, most of the stuff discussed in this board has gone over my head, and I've never wavedashed, let alone used it usefully. BTW I play fox, and have since the original (woot, lucky coicidence for the tiers... poor kirby players ).

Umm, the biggest competition I've been to of smash was at AVCon in Adelaide, which is basically it's anime convention (FYI the Melbourne one is Manifest, the Sydney one is Animania etc). The competition had quite a lot of skilled people and the winner was a guy that played a remarkable Samus... I'll be making the trip back over to AVCon this year and I believe that the other two cons mentioned will have console gaming components of similiar... smash presence

I will agree with you SaberAnt, the game is highly overlooked and it pisses me off when people believe that it is just a party game!

Anywho hope to play some of you guys soon (and maybe receive some form of tuition ^_^. Maybe in the hols which start in July, so busy with Uni right now...

Hi guys...I'm just sitting here on top of my collection of titles...Marth and Falco are getting me some good altitude thanks girls...but I must say the DK title is by far the juiciest

Josh(imposter not the Yanky)...Jon has taken up the abusive "shuffle fair" Falcon you showed him....despite the fact prior to our visit there he said he never would, and the fact he said you're overly gay in the nicest sense of the word for abusing it. .... Oh and Emily is trying to mimic your Peach too....looks like you've had quite a say in the styles of those two chaps still trying to find their smash feet. HAHA...I like teasing my 'crew'...especially when they don't have their titles. Mooo!
I think there's a good chance they'll practise to return them to their homebase though, and with one character to shine up, I don't doubt they can, as for me I've got to shine all of them up to maintain title + work on my own. Poor sucker Shaz, why did you open your big typing..err...fingers.

Mic working on IC's? Oh well Cory will help you with them, I heard he plays them well (mainly from him) but he sounds like he knows what he's on about...so yeah.

If not, I'm thinking of trying to get one started up on my own somehow. Oh, Sabreant, i can reach the 'o' button, but you dont seems to know waht 1337 talk is, let me explain. Alphabetically, 'p' is the next letter after 'o' and so 1337 (or elite) talkers use the letter 'p' to represent a better version of the word 'own'. Just thought you'd want to know.

Wow, another melbourne player to the list. That brings your grand total up to 5. Almost close to our 8 but your getting there.

Good news for the tourney, we (josh, kenton and me) found out a way to digitise VHS video really easy. When we tape the matches we can digitise them, copy them onto a disk and send them off to jonnie boy who can pop them on the net for us!!!! yippe!!! Aussie vids here we come!!!

Here is not a bad idea suggestion location wise... it's near the train station (croxton on the epping line), but the place is a tad small and we only have a 30cm TV

Either way I'm prepared to drive anywhere in Melbourne for a bit of smash fun. It's hard at the moment with Uni but if someone organised something I'd probably try to make it, simply cos I'm sick of uni. Doesn't help that I can't make it anywhere on Saturdays

Ahh well, thats life... can't wait til the end of June... can't wait to meet some of you guys.
