I tried for a bit but it didn't work. Then I tried it with peach and stuff and it still would not work. My timing must be off!

Ike can't be edge grabbed I'll say that. Olimars tested everyone who can and can't be grabbed off the ledge

Basically anyone who has their hurtbox ABOVE the stage can be grabbed off

Ike can grab people others tested this out and they gave a list who couldn't. How can this be possibly be better than an Fsmash at the ledge?

ok, I like to have fun in my matches so I point out fun things to do even if they don't help. It's fun to show off in matches. That is why I post stuff that might not help. It's not pointless it's just fun
