To those complaining about anything: You have no idea what you're talking about.
Our system is to look at who you beat and who you lost to, NOT what your placing was. We look at all of those things in order to determine if someone should be moved up/down. Our system works in the way people on the numbered PR are relatively hard to move based off of 1 or 2 odd placings. Know how Lain just got 25th at VC? Me going down in the PR for losing to Boxxy would have been the equivalent of Lain going down for not doing well. Does that make any sense at all? And as Tony said, our system is to initially put people in the HMs before they could hit the numbers. This makes sense based on the inconsistent history of Smashers to do well then randomly drop off (which has happened to many of our HMs in the past). Boxxy beating me and a few other good players has moved him onto the HMs. If he continues to have a strong showing at tournaments, then you can bet your *** he'll make it onto the numbers in no time.
Note that I, personally, am looking forward to when I drop down in the PR. I want to see who will end up taking my place there. I'm very proud of the fact that I'm incredibly neutral with my personal feelings when it comes to things like the PR (otherwise Mann would be #1 :D) and insinuating that we are "abusing our power" is incredibly insulting to us. Especially to someone like Tony who spends a good deal of time making our PR the most baller PR in the country.
Also, the rule for inactivity yielding removal from the PR is no tournaments for 2 months. Do you see NoJ anywhere in the PR? He was removed at the 2 month mark, and Tony issued me a warning that he'd remove me soon when I was close to the deadline.
In short, our process makes sense, is unbiased, and anyone who would raise hell to the point of making Tony remove the god**** PR needs to shut the **** up and learn their place.
