So what I could squeeze out of VTS' text about our plans for the tournament:

Arby and vts, drives up to Fayetteville Friday night and sleeps here.
Saturday morning, Drive to Springfield. (about 2 hours away)
Sleep in Springfield Saturday night and drive back Sunday morning.

What this means for me is I'll be working front desk Friday night until 8pm. Then from 8pm to 8am, I'll be on call, which means answering the phones. I'll ask my boss for Saturday and part of Sunday off. If we can get back before 11am I won't have to worry about missing work Sunday.

u can't make conclusions so easily. Rain seems like more of a player that tries to learn habits (kind of like Ally for some american players on east coast, and Seibrik does for Florida) so he does especially well in those regions, while other players have more all around styles that can handle <insert random situation> better, OR more "gimmicks" that people aren't used to, or some factor like novelty (unpopular characters often have a lot of these. Lower tiered characters will do worse in their region, but do really well out of state when people fall for all/most of their "tricks").

nietono seems like he has really good habits vs <insert random player>, which explains why he goes really well vs a wide variety of players, but bad vs the player that memorized him found and found counter strats against him (Rain).

I think there's a lot of this type of thing going on in Arkansas.

Situation where pivot drop was probably the only way to get to the edge fast enough for one such as Ganon or Falcon. That was a free stock at ~75% against a spacy! *If wavedash would have made it, there is surely a farther spacing where wavedash is slower than a dash.

Vts and I met that Falco and his friend at Genesis, and his friend again on the plane ride to Apex. I'm afraid of playing Houston in general. Falcos and Marths everywhere! Bring on the Ganon though :D

Btw, Immaculate Conception is a different thing than The Virgin Birth. IC refers to the idea that Mary was free from Original Sin from the moment of her conception. It's mostly a Catholic thing.

This is interesting. I still need to see... almost all of those The absence of certain titles in even the honorable mentions is confusing though.

AOTY for 2011 is getting pretty unanimous responses on 4chan (Madoka), with some Steins;Gate and Penguindrum stragglers (st00pid shows). Ano Hana and Usagi Drop haven't gotten a peep yet, and they're better than any of the above. Alas.

Bring on the Marth's and the Ganon, but Falco? Eh, I'm not sure. Might take me a while to get used to playing an actual falco main, especially one with experience vs Ganon. They look pretty decent, and honestly I'd really like to get a crack at them.

Is that Ganon Pawls better than me? I can't really tell...I wanna say no but I could be biased toward myself. He handles lasers better than I do, that's one observation I can make, but in general I wanna say I read better and am smoother.
