Jimmyjoe are you the guy thats hosting Isai and Boom? If so is it possible to stop by and
play some matches with them?

I'm not hosting both of them, and as for playing matches I can't and wouldn't speak for them.
That being said there will be copious amounts of smash being played all weekend and I wouldn't want anyone to be left out. I'm sure you'll play some talented players

We will be sticking with a 64-man bracket. If megavolt and valoem wish to enter, they'll have to try and buy someone else's spot. If worst comes to worst they can still enter the 2v2 tournament on SUNDAY at 11AM.

Understandable, 66 man tourney is just awk, but still... it's Valoem and Megavolt, man. Never even seen megavolt on video.

Long story short Some melee scrub needs to give up that spot

I also don't feel like bending the rules for them because they're idiots for waiting for the absolute last minute when they had FOUR MONTHS to register. Even if they had some legitimate concerns (not wanting to pay venue just to enter a side event) they should have brought this up a long time ago.

I suggested they try asking some of the random Brawl players that entered, since 64 runs almost concurrently with Brawl pools.

Ok guys looks like Ill have a VCR, Tapes, SSB, N64, few controllers. a note pad to help keep track of matches recorded.

Now I only have a few tapes I will give tapes with names on them to a few of the players who wish to record games so they can take them home and upload the matches later.

I was hoping a thread in the video section would open to link to all the channels. Like everybody who has vids says it in the thread and the OP gets edit (editted?) accordingly.

I'm kind of annoyed that I'm in the same quadrant of the bracket as Isai, since we are both on the west coast and have played each other a bunch of times. Was hoping to get some fresh new tournament matchups out of this. Oh well.

We did our best to separate regions but some things are unavoidable. You are the top seed in your half quadrant. If you were switched with King Funk you'd run into the same problem with Jaime (who was in your bracket at Genesis 2). If you were switched with Koro you'd play Jel. If you were switched with me you'd face another WA player and then my bracket would be mostly EC. While your quadrant has Isai in it, you'll be playing midwest and EC players to get there.

We'll record as much as we can, but we don't have enough recording equipment to record everything. We'll do our best to get every major match recorded though.

We will have over 10 setups, so over 10 tournament matches occurring simultaneously (at least in opening rounds). There hasn't been much discussion for a crew battle but I think that would be a lot of fun. We'll have to see how much time we'll have.
