Yes, I definitely do...I'd love to get some weeklies going in the bay area so I don't have to drive so far. If anyone knows a little low key venue that would let us do it like a church or a school, or a house im so down it's not even funny (and so are 3 or 4 of my smash buddies in danville/san ramon)I can't find anybody to brawl with IRL. =D
Any Bay-Area brawlers wanna Brawl? =]
Let me know when and were anything under an hour and im good to goAnybody in San Jose? We need to arrange a meeting or some **** like that.
People in SJ should say th nearest highway and we could probably find which place is closest to us all.Let me know when and were anything under an hour and im good to go
Sure I'm always up for playing n00bs. I'm pretty noob myself!Does anyone in the East Bay play Melee?
I'm just starting to learn how to play Melee, and the only people I know play 2D fighters so I have nobody to play with. If anyone's willing to play with a complete newcomer, let me know.
AllisBrawl:One more thing, there is a tourney in Fremont tomorrow. You can go to allisbrawl.com and you find it on the tournament section.
Johns. If you don't want to come because of the small amount of people said to attend, don't be fooled. We have around 30 attendees that do not have AIB accounts
This is a good way to make your tournament run quickly. >__>Entry is $2, and you can enter twice.
Yes this does mean you get two different slots in the brackets, giving you two shots at placing.
It sounds like a really awesome tournament.(counterpicks in this tournament are the same as neutrals, as in there are only 4 stages that are legal)
So you're saying this guy went all out for this quality joke?Wow it is actually.
If you copy the actual image address, Hugo's is from the smashboards selectable avatars, and the one for HugS` is a custom avatar. Perhaps he C/P'd HugS's avatar image from SWF onto his computer and then re-uploaded it as a custom avatar (which somehow causes image quality loss perhaps), while unbeknownst to him it is a preloaded SWF avatar.
Yea. I know what you mean. I also have about 4 friends that would be very down for a local tourney. I live in El Cerrito and have a friend that lives in Kensington that could maybe host a small tournament at his house but I'd have to talk to him.Yes, I definitely do...I'd love to get some weeklies going in the bay area so I don't have to drive so far. If you don't remember who I am,Socal trivia:
This person registered the name Sky` with a "`" instead of just Sky. This is because "sky" was already registered by Eznjay, because he thought it would be baller as f*** to call himself Sky. That s**t lasted for one tournament and he is only referred to as "Sky" when getting ripped on.
aka greg aka sky hazuki aka guy who beat iceninjaIf you don't remember who I am,
I'm the big black guy you roomed with, at MLG NJ.
And you would get mad if the alarm went off and it woke you up.
=D tee Why. =Daka greg aka sky hazuki aka guy who beat iceninja
NICE NAMECHANGE
If youre talking about me, youre an idot, go look in any other boards im active in, like the fox ones. im online everyday. i also do a great job in the pacific west. other than this. a lot of threads in pac west stay open because they dont hurt anything and are inside jokes among the region, for some reason ppl complain about those.hahaha awesome
in all seriousness, people who aren't active mods shouldn't really be mods IMO; they tend to just come around every 2 months and abuse their power for a few hours, then disappear again
instead of tacking on new mods when the old ones go inactive, the old ones should be removed too -_-
Everyone listen to Silent Wolf right now.SWF Rules said:5.Flaming/Respect Issues
a. Be Nice To Newbies. Hey, everyone was or is a newbie at some point, and they deserve fair treatment, unless, of course, they've shown that they DON'T deserve fair treatment by the quality of their posts. Then the Moderators will take care of things.
b. Respect Fellow Members. Even if you dislike somebody, you should treat everyone fairly. Flaming is a big no-no, especially when cursing is involved. Moderators do not like that. If someone is flaming you, do not retaliate. Report it to a moderator. If we catch them, we'll punish them.
c. Respect Moderators/Administrators. You are entitled to your own opinion and may tell them what you think of their style, etc. However, it is important that you listen to what they say. For example: if they tell you not to post something, don't post it. Common sense and listening will get you in their favor and will contribute to your overall happiness at the forums.
* Flaming - 2 points, 3 weeks length
* Disrespect for Forum Leaders - 3 points, 1 month length
