Aw man, the one omni and I can't go to there's gonna be a huge turnout?? Well, I guess I better come to the next one. Talking about that, Rofa, you'd better think about when your last one is going to be, since cygamez is on the 28th and $400 and a sea of n00bs will probably SERIOUSLY hinder the turnout.

this is my view on it.. gas costing 4.05 a gallon means if i won the tournament which i prolly wont I'd still be 40$ in debt. thats why i don't go out of state anymore.
...and be good enough to win the tournament.

yea so did i but gas was like 2.00 then i live up in st. clair (right by port huron not sc shores) and everyone i play with lives in ann arbor or lansing, which means it takes me 1hr 45mins to get to ann arbor and which is a half tank there and back, thats about a good 40$+ just to pick people up or go to a tourney( more if we carpool due to me only being 1/2 of the way there), and thats without food and entry to the tourney. I just hope brawl can pick up its pace and make it a game worth driving all over for so i have an amazing reason to drive all over for.
Traveling OOS to play a game for fun is fine, but I was referring to your strategy of traveling OOS and having prize money cover your expenses.

doubles starts at 1 PM on Saturday and is $20 per team
singles starts between 4 and 5 on Saturday and is $10 per team
there is a free smashfest on Friday with a $5 side tournament that starts around 10 PM. the tournament will be announced later tonight peoples!
