I cant talk for anyone else but im not upset that people know more about Brawl than me. Its expected since I have no gaming contacts or affiliations whatsoever....even still, to think that way is childish.

But you have to also think abit here. From our position. You havent said anything except vague statements about mewtwo and lucario IF that. You are in the same boat as the other "prophets" like it or not. You say you have info, but you cant prove it. In terms of you repressing info thereby proving your validity..... Id say hardly.

Should we believe a leaker because he only reveals ATs and no PCs? The only way to believe someone is with proof, NOT with the lack thereof.

I can believe that you know SOME information, maybe (however unlikely) even ALL the info theres to know. But the fact is, if you can't or won't say anything to us, you're as good as Reggie Fils or even thealmightygoat. Which pretty much is worthless right now, in terms of Smash bros info.

People who think that Serebii has the same status as people who make up BS lists and claim they have a leak:

You really have no idea what you're talking about, no offense. Serebii's site has been known to get insider information that is very rarely false all the time. In fact, he's gotten in a bit of legal trouble with Nintendo because of it (don't know the details, not really my business). He'd be an idiot if he DIDN'T act like he is right now, with the not revealing anything and trying to be evasive. Honestly, deconfirming rosters could even be a risk if Nintendo tries very hard to make it an offense (which they probably would if he decided to get their attention by spoiling their game). So if you think he owes us something or needs to step up to the plate and give us real info: please, try and see it from his side. It doesn't matter if he's a secondhand source; it doesn't matter if he personally had to sign an NDA about Brawl or not; it doesn't matter if you see him any different from other sources; he'd be an idiot if he revealed any information whatsoever (outside of a meticulously constructed anonymous, untraceable, possibly impossible scheme to get out the info, which is more than likely not feasible and would not be believed because he couldn't say "LOLZ i'm anonymous but i'm serrabi") because Nintendo is at least aware of his existence. And believe it or not, there ARE legal ninjas in the VG industry.

Anyways, people are reading WAY too much into Serebii's "no comment"s and choices not to deconfirm rosters ^_^

Serebii seems to know EVERYTHING about Pokemon in advance, thus he could very well (and probably does) know all the Pokemon-based content on Brawl.

I remember people attacking me when Serebii listed all the Pokemon English names, attacks, towns, items, and everything inbetween before release, and I began using the terms as official. Whenever I used them, people would say I was "making them up" and "had no source". But in the end, all Serebii said was right. Everything. And he has been for many years and fortnights.

He won't tell you what's on Brawl because he's trustworthy to his sources, and doesn't want to lose them. He's no troll or noob, so please don't treat him like he is.

Hard to believe that people leak almost every single Nintendo video game and you never hear them getting prosecuted or sued, yet a small information leak from a reputiable source would have some far-reaching legal consequences. You already have leaked Brawl information due to what people have inferred from your words. You're being a horrible tease.

Heh, I was considering mentioning that topic... it seems like GameFAQs has torn him apart though, while this board has largely ignored what he's had to say. There isn't really much to his info besides R.O.B. though, which is probably why he's getting generally overlooked like this, it's a little too safe in general.
Even R.O.B. makes sense when you consider that Nintendo loves joking around with R.O.B. now. I wouldn't know how to explain the R.O.B. squad thing though, but time will undoubtedly tell.

I suppose I just like his info a little just because Ness, Marth and Captain Falcon deserve to return in my opinion, and I also really like the idea of R.O.B. being playable, since he's my 2nd choice in Mario Kart DS, after all.

This whole Serebii argument is getting stupid anyway. It's more than likely he has info, and it's more than likely he'll get into even more trouble from Nintendo since they sure didn't like Serebii leaking Diamond/Pearl info, which I was there for anyway... I'm sorry you have to put up with this sort of rubbish now Joe, it's just the Smash community is getting tense thanks to that striptease of a Dojo doing it's thing for months, and all these 'leakers' too.

From what I understand, he has a SOURCE in Nintendo who gives him info. It's not officially given to him. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
